Argghhhh, I’m so sorry, I hope I haven’t lost you all! I was keeping a beady eye then got distracted trying to work out how to forward plan a Zoom call for work and invite someone, which should only take a few minutes but I’m incompetent and it took me far too long Blush .

@CarrotVan I hope it was the former!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

@wizzbangfizz

Thanks *@TheGriffle* I was hoping to come under a tenner but will take a lookGrin
I bought this to do some Xmas crafts with DTs. Got it on a stacking voucher deal so came up under a tenner. Good for what I needed it for but some had dried out before we had even opened them. Definitely wouldn't buy again.
buckeejit · 12/11/2020 11:40

@princessbear80 you might need to update the app - mine wasn't showing the option until I updated it. Wait until you're sure you'll spend the points though & do it in store - most have WiFi now

HoHoHolyMackerel · 12/11/2020 11:41

I doubled up my points in store just now via the app. I brought some wine for meeeeeeeee Grin

SpamIAm · 12/11/2020 11:42

@ButtonMoonLoon tbh I've just given up on trying to think of things to buy for people like that and just buy food and alcohol 🤷‍♀️

uniqlo · 12/11/2020 11:46

Whoops sorry for the wrong Nectar info! I looked again online and saw that what I read the other day (after not being able to see the option to do so on the app) only applied to converting the points online and not on the app. I really should've carried on reading the next line Blush
I'm going to update my app and see if it helps!

Nectar points can be Exchanged online for a Double Up voucher between 28 October - 3 November 2020. Nectar points can be Exchanged for a Double Up voucher via the Nectar app between 11 November 2020 – 17 November 2020.

LutherRalph1 · 12/11/2020 11:53

Does anybody know if Sainsburys sell Dre Beats? I'm going to look tomorrow anyway but wondered if anybody knew

princessbear80 · 12/11/2020 11:56

Thanks all for the nectar info! Got it to work using @buckeejit’s tip to update the app.

Wiifitmama · 12/11/2020 11:59

My Typo order just arrived (massive box!!!!). The best buy was the cushions. They were reduced from £20 to £7.50 and I bought three in different designs for three kids: a dice, a globe and a strawberry. I am soooo impressed by them. Really good size, very solid and thick outer which feels really expensive. Not sure if they are still on offer, but they had loads of different shapes including food like burgers!

ArnoldJRimmer · 12/11/2020 12:00

When spending the double up vouchers, do you use the app in store when paying or just the nectar card? I have the app on my phone but dh has the card since he works next door to Sainsbury's so he could pop in after work

Madonnawiththebigboobies · 12/11/2020 12:04

When you double up your points on the app you save your voucher on the app then scan your digital nectar card and the voucher when paying

Osquito · 12/11/2020 12:05

@wizzbangfizz
B&M have big packs of multicoloured kids clay or play dough, not sure if it’s the air drying stuff or not though.

Can anyone recommend either a beef jerky/biltong one-off gift box or short subscription? Thank you!

Brill, thanks Madonnawiththebigboobies! A sentence I'd never thought I'd write Grin
Madonnawiththebigboobies · 12/11/2020 12:20

Oh and I forgot to say, make sure your mobile number is registered to the app as when I doubled up yesterday I got a code text which I had to put into the app. If that makes sense. Also dont double up until you are certain they have want you want in store .

OrigamiPenguinArmy · 12/11/2020 12:21

@Wiifitmama that’s good to know. I ordered the burger one (among many other things) the typo delivery is due this afternoon so I’ll report back too.

JaneyJimplin · 12/11/2020 12:27

@wizzbangfizz I've boought the air dry clay @TheGriffle recommended and can vouch that it is really good 👍

NewYorkIvy · 12/11/2020 12:32

I order far too much from Typo and I'm always impressed by the quality. I'd ordered the cushions so good to hear they're lovely. Can't remember which ones I ordered now, one for each child - will find out tonight when I get home.

TheCrow · 12/11/2020 12:43

@Whydidimarryhim no milk frithers in our Lidl today, they had all the Christmas stuff out though. Seems yours has put them out a few days early

TheCrow · 12/11/2020 12:43

Frothers, not frithers! What on earth's a frither?

Luxplus · 12/11/2020 12:52

Early black Friday has started on Lottie dolls own website Smile

Howmanysleepsnow · 12/11/2020 12:54

I’m nearly done, but running low on funds! Can anyone find me any bargains for...
A men’s ultramarathon running jacket (preferably innov8)
An Ember Mug 2
A powerup 3.0 (or 2!)
A Nintendo gift voucher and a PlayStation gift voucher (downloadable)

I also need recommendations for a coffee bean subscription (want different beans each month) if anyone has used one that was really good?

Howmanysleepsnow · 12/11/2020 12:58

Re the hot chocolate maker, these get brilliant reviews and are much cheaper than a velvetiser.

oatmilkisntsobad · 12/11/2020 12:59

I was just about to put in an order to muddlebox for a family cocktail making evening and they're not taking any more orders!! Anyone know of a similar company I can use? Thanks

SingaporeSlinky · 12/11/2020 13:00

Wiifitmother do those cushions stay in the solid shapes or are they very squishy? I can’t imagine a globe or dice being very comfortable to use as an actual cushion?

oatmilkisntsobad · 12/11/2020 13:02

@whitetilesmurf

Has anyone seen anything like the naked marshmallow gel burner that’s not from them? Their bundle with the burner won’t be eaten. DS just likes normal marshmallows but I’d like to try and find the little burner if possible.
I bought some from Amazon
livingthegoodlife · 12/11/2020 13:07

Tiger poem book arrived today. It's beautiful. A coffee table type book. Would be lovely gift to a teacher for their class. I love it! Thanks for the recommendation.
