Argghhhh, I’m so sorry, I hope I haven’t lost you all! I was keeping a beady eye then got distracted trying to work out how to forward plan a Zoom call for work and invite someone, which should only take a few minutes but I’m incompetent and it took me far too long Blush .

@CarrotVan I hope it was the former!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

So, I thought I was done but then DTs have developed an affinity for Paw Patrol.

I'm after any deals on soft toys.

They are being exchanged for Father Christmas taking dummies to all the babies so need to be suitable for sleep - no talking buttons etc.

Anyone know anywhere I can try?
Build a bear is out of stock, the beanie baby ones are a bit weird looking and the usual toy shops are a currently a bit above budget.

Christmascaker · 11/11/2020 18:05

Does anyone happen to know if Zara ever have money off? Other than their sales! They’ve got some lovely Christmas bits, maybe I can justify it if I start Christmas now?!

selina25 · 11/11/2020 18:11

Ive has an email from the brew tea company saying their Christmas shop opens tomorrow, lots of us got the teapot and loose tea last year!

MrsDoctorDear · 11/11/2020 18:12

@InDreamland I can't remember the box but they were definitely GHD originals like in your picture. I could have just been unlucky but after doing a bit of rooting around it seemed coincidental that GHD had changed hands/sold out around a year or so before I bought them.

I’d love some help finding a gift for a 13 year old boy please, all I know is he likes “football and sports”. It’s a secret Santa gift for the young widows group I’m in so I can’t find out anymore info. £15 budget.

InDreamland · 11/11/2020 18:31

@MrsDoctorDear I'll give them a go and if I don't like them I'll return and give cloud nine a go. I've ordered them from ASOS with today's 20% off.

Foggyday124 · 11/11/2020 18:34

letsplaybamboozled thank you so much, I have been wondering whether to buy one but at that price it’s definitely worth it!

eliope · 11/11/2020 18:35

Last years deal from Brew Tea Co. was excellent. I gave the set all beautifully wrapped in yellow stripy paper thinking she wouldn't really use it. It has been the smash hit of the year, she says its the best ever tea and has gone on to buy everyone and their dog tea pots, canisters etc! Would definitely recommend.

eliope · 11/11/2020 18:37

She is my mum!

Gurufloof · 11/11/2020 18:46

Shit fatface do bloody jewellery. Bang goes my "I'm almost done" line. Shhh dont tell DP it's all going to be for me.

thaegumathteth · 11/11/2020 18:47

@NaraDeer
Do you know his name?

thaegumathteth · 11/11/2020 18:48

If you knew his team I'd have loads of suggestions @NaraDeer

Otherwise footballs always go down well with ds and there's a feathery thing called unkixk that's about £9

TheGirlWhoLived · 11/11/2020 18:51

@KillZill you want somewhere that does the TY versions, lots of supermarkets (Tesco, Morrison’s, Sainsbury’s etc) do them in their generic toy plush aisle. Amazon have this one for £7 but I can’t tell how big it is zouma

Fake Oodie arrived from Amazon. It's rubbish. It's basically just a cheap fleece. It's not oversized (it's almost exactly the same size as my son's size Medium men's Gap sweatshirt), and the material is very thin and not well stitched. As someone else pointed out, they have just copied the Oodie website pictures - they are not pictures of the actual product.

I thought it was worth a try on the lightening deal, but am sending it back.

sorryiasked · 11/11/2020 19:00

@NaraDeer how about this (if you know his size?)

yafilthyanimalandahappynewyear · 11/11/2020 19:05

The Entertainer has an extra 10% off sale items with code EXTRA10.

SomethingInTheWaySheCooks · 11/11/2020 19:08

Did anyone else who ordered the cake mixes from Superfood Bakery receive a strange email today. It warns you that the banana loaf mix may be rancid, but infers that you try it and, if it is, let them know!

herecomesthsun · 11/11/2020 19:17

Well, our plan was to give the mixes away as little Christmas presents to my daughter's friends (as we can't do so many of the Xmas fun things with them). So dodgy cake mix that might be rancid wouldn't really work for that, sadly.

Chocoholicmumma · 11/11/2020 19:18

@SomethingInTheWaySheCooks Yes me!

Carrie76 · 11/11/2020 19:19

@BalaamsAss I’ve just bought this one fridge it holds 12 cans or 6 500ml bottles so I think big enough for a bedroom

SomethingInTheWaySheCooks · 11/11/2020 19:20

I replied to the bakery saying I’ll just bin that one! I don’t intend to try something on the off chance that it’s not rancid. Ugh!

queenoftheglee · 11/11/2020 19:21

@NaraDeer my football mad boys love these and have gifted them to friends.
