Argghhhh, I’m so sorry, I hope I haven’t lost you all! I was keeping a beady eye then got distracted trying to work out how to forward plan a Zoom call for work and invite someone, which should only take a few minutes but I’m incompetent and it took me far too long Blush .

@CarrotVan I hope it was the former!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

SnotRockets I usually buy miniatures from local newsagents/ offies such as Premier as they usually stock singles so you don't gave to buy more than you need. I must stress I buy them for gifts, cocktails etc and not to keep in my handbag.

bettyskitchen · 09/11/2020 14:57

@princessbear80 they're regularly doing discounts at the moment. I'm sure they'll have something for black friday if not before

CompleteBarstool · 09/11/2020 14:57

@PinkJam

Neal’s Yard Remedies have 20% off up to 16th November with code: VIP20
I'd rather not buy from Neal's Yard as its now an MLM.

Shame really, as 25/30 years ago when I first bought from them they were a small chain of shops and not involved in MLM

ritzbiscuits · 09/11/2020 15:08

@TheLastStarfighter Your prompt on pj bottoms has just prompted me to buy some Asda Grinch ones for DH.

thelegohooverer · 09/11/2020 15:09

@FoolShapeHeart I had to get rid of our Christmas tree train a few years ago because it was too noisy and too fast. They may have improved in the meantime though.
We got a flego Christmas train from AliExpress which doesn’t have an engine but is very pretty although it doesn’t move.
Ds modified it to add an engine from a different train set so it can go round the tree but being flego he won’t wander off with bits of it for another building project, so it’s ideal for the moment.

The actual winter train is retired now but Lego do a Hogwarts train which I would like to upgrade to one day.

Given 2020 so far, nobody would blame you for keeping strong liqueur on your person at all times! Xmas Grin

@Justyou yes, Neom, if I close my eyes its like I am in the spa lol

HoHoHolyMackerel · 09/11/2020 15:27

@CompleteBarstool I just buy from their website or shops direct.

Sunshineskies · 09/11/2020 15:45

@aw93 I’d love a Victoria secret code if you still have them please Flowers

RaggieDolls · 09/11/2020 15:57

OMG. The Neom candies. Am in heaven.

princessbear80 · 09/11/2020 16:01

Thanks @bettyskitchen I’ll hold out for a better deal on ASOS.

Those of you who bought Neom candles, which scent do you like best? I’ve been given a Space NK voucher and might treat myself. Not as good a bargain as the QVC deal though!

myhobbyisouting · 09/11/2020 16:04

Thanks for the hand creams. Perfect teacher present and filler

Theonlyoneiknow · 09/11/2020 16:06

@MsMiaWallace

I saw the hotel chocolat Deal this morning. Looks good! I've been eyeing up the x2 large boxes they have on sale too. With the £10 they're a really good buy.
Do you have a referral code I could use, is it for QVC please?
Fuckingfuckssake · 09/11/2020 16:11
@Fuckingfuckssake they are from Home Bargains. I managed to get some last week but the marshmallow toppers are still evading me!
I'm going tomorrow, cross everything!!

Junobug · 09/11/2020 16:15

@Raindropsonrosesand My son got that pogo stick last year. He was 7 at the time and it's great. All the neighbourhood kids play on it, aged 5 to 11 and all manage it fine.
I can't remember who asked about the tree train but we also have the Ali express fake lego one. It's great for the money. I keep meaning to buy the motor but it's just as expensive as the train.

myhobbyisouting · 09/11/2020 16:15

Try both the hot drinks section and the Christmas section for the toppers. I found them in both!

The mug huggers are cute but they weren't houses, they were characters

buckeejit · 09/11/2020 16:23

My neom have arrived too. After the disappointing smell of the Byredo/Ikea ones so far, I'm delighted. May even order a 3rd set 😬

Barstool - Aroma energy is good for oils & has blends, (eBay or its own site). I also bought the neom blends selection cheaper on eBay not long ago

MsMiaWallace · 09/11/2020 16:44

It is QVC. I think there are referral codes on the referral thread.

Is anyone else getting the hotel chocolat TSV? I've worked it out you get over 1.6kg of chocs!

wishingchair1 · 09/11/2020 16:57

Any recommendations for a 11 yr old girl getting into anime. Found a hoody, bag, posters but suggestions would be great.

aw93 · 09/11/2020 17:01

@wishingchair1 Maybe see if there is a manga series of her favourite anime?

InDreamland · 09/11/2020 17:07

@MsMiaWallace I'm tempted. I usually buy it, it's different (but similar) this year to the previous few years but still really nice. Just thinking who I'd give them to as we normally take to whoever is hosting us as a thank you for having us over gift at Christmas but with covid I wonder if we'll be going anywhere this year plus we're actual hosting family this Christmas if the rules allow it. Probably good to have in the just in case cupboard though and then if we don't go to anyone DH week eat them or I wrap one up for my DSis as part of her pie of presents I've already bought her but not actually spent much because of all the bargains posted on here.

Ness1234 · 09/11/2020 17:16

Hope someone can make use of the code.
