Do Jacques of London quality?
Did for me!

My husband, who never asks for anything, has asked for a thermos style cup. I know they’ve been mentioned on here before but I’ve skipped past as he’s been happy using my Disney Cath Kidston one up to now!
Thank you!

mummymilkfloat · 12/10/2020 08:06

Sorry posted too soon, thanks in advance for the recommendations!

I have bought grandparents these vases with my children’s drawings on and they’ve gone down very well and seem good value. Might be nice with some festive flowers too?
(Not my shop I’ve just used the company)

Twilightstarbright · 12/10/2020 08:12

@mummymilkfloat contigo or bodum ones are recommended on here. I like my stojo as it fits in my bag.

mummymilkfloat · 12/10/2020 08:15

Perfect thanks @Twilightstarbright

PinkDaydreams · 12/10/2020 08:24

@mummymilkfloat I started a thread asking the same thing the other day and the majority vote was for contigo. I've hd four different bodum in the past and was disappointed with all of them.

Jacopone · 12/10/2020 08:24

@Ewock, yes it is.
I thoroughly recommend it. Sturdy, durable, easy to set up and put away. And already boxed as a gift.

SleeptightDaisy · 12/10/2020 08:28

Some of the big potato games are in the small business £10 but some aren't colour brain isn't. I messaged Amazon to find out why I hadn't got the £10 credit after purchasing colour brain. They replied that only some games are in the offer.

Fantastic thank you. We have purchased several different items over the last two years from Jacques and they are always bequtifully presented

drapeyday · 12/10/2020 08:36

@mummymilkfloat I got one of these Bodum ones there half price on amazon at the moment there a great travel mug as well.

Jacopone · 12/10/2020 08:39

@ewock
Yes true. I only found out about Jacques of London last year on this thread ( so very grateful!) and bought a few games for last Christmas for us and as presents. They are great.

lolarabbit · 12/10/2020 08:47

Redbubble link here have discounts on all products eg 20% off Tshirts, 40% off mugs. Lots of fun and original designs but you do need to be wary of postage costs.

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 12/10/2020 08:56

Good snapfish discounts on at the moment - I do personalised calendars for the grandparents and a desk one for DH every year and they are always popular. They are great quality too

CarrotVan · 12/10/2020 08:57

Not a bargain as such but very reasonable - Dunelm have some lovely 1m wide wrapping paper at £3 for 6m length

The designs were lovely AND recycleable

I've also ordered some bargainous Playmobil from here

CarrotVan · 12/10/2020 09:00

There's a couple of Playmobil Advent Calendars on that last link in the Clearance section

RuPaula · 12/10/2020 09:02

Does anyone know why Go Jetters toys don’t seem to be available much anymore? I’m after a jet pad, there are some on ebay but they’re quite expensive with the postage (& loads have bits missing), also any books or the selfie camera if anyone has any bright ideas?

bettyskitchen · 12/10/2020 09:05

10 kids books for £10 at The Works
www.theworks.co.uk/c/offers/multibuys/10-for-10

CarrotVan · 12/10/2020 09:05

Also a reminder of Pewter Hooter on Amazon - good quality, nicely presented Swarovski crystal jewellery for cheap

AlbertCampion · 12/10/2020 09:05

@mummymilkfloat I have a Chilly's thermos mug which I absolutely love - it keeps stuff hot for ages. But it doesn't travel, iyswim - it does go everywhere if tipped upside down! They often have them in TK Maxx I think.

JinglesWish · 12/10/2020 09:20

Morning all - my spare room is covered in deliveries!! I really need to sort and wrap.

Just opened the family Christmas cards I ordered from Etsy. I love these ones. They’re painted to order, so I’ve added names and dates. They’re even prettier in person, as there’s a little bit of sparkle. £3.50 inc delivery. From Box of Sparkle: www.etsy.com/uk/shop/BoxofSparkle

Thanks @Shieldingending & @4Minions2CallMyOwn, appreciate it

PinkDaydreams · 12/10/2020 09:37

@RuPaula I bought the go jetters selfie cam last year from Amazon. It was £5 but for some reason (no idea why) only cost £1 when I checked out! Might be worth having a look on Amazon.
