nicky2512 the Sylvanian families might work? A lot of those are in the prime sale.

Hedgyhoggy · 13/10/2020 23:24

Is there a way of checking if you’ve spent your £10 on Amazon. No specific £10 was removed from my invoice 🤨

minsmum · 13/10/2020 23:35

Thanks @woodwaj, I got a stove top coffee pot for 7.59 after I used my £10

nicky2512 · 13/10/2020 23:35

Fefifofaff
Ooo thank you. Yes, will have a look.
Hadn’t thought of them even though my house used to be full of Sylvanians! That was all Dd played with for years. She has kept them all too!

Re @waterlemon message - I entirely agree. I wanted to buy this Frida Kahlo jigsaw puzzle and although it would have been easier to get it on amazon I decided to buy it from Sendit. ( the same money as amazon price £16 and sendit 12.99 + 2.99 pp) Arrived promptly, well packaged so very pleased. I might get some more.

@whatwillicallmyself how's about some craft supplies, electric hot water bottle or hand warmer. Window vac, echo dot, smart plug. I bought echo shows to video with parents. Mine went by 9am on my first of 3-4 orders today!

TheGriffle · 13/10/2020 23:44

Everything I tried in my Amazon basket took the £10 small business credit off. I was very indecisive all day and I tested cat food, jigsaws, celebrations, slime, playdoh, Aqua beads, plasticine, modelling doh tools, and eventually settled on an advent calendar kit and a babyliss hair curler (I had one credit on my account and one on dh’s)

TheGriffle · 13/10/2020 23:47

@Hedgyhoggy this is what my invoice showed with the discount taken off (didn’t manage the full £10)

buckeejit · 13/10/2020 23:48

@Hedgyhoggy it takes it off as part of the prime discount so difficult to see where's had the £10 credit applied.

Jacopone · 13/10/2020 23:48

Apology, as the original suggestion to use independent sellers was by @tentative. But thank you waterlemon for hive site.

ClaraTheImpossibleGirl · 13/10/2020 23:52

Thanks @IggyAce, I will have a look for those things. He used to be really into sport, Lego, drawing etc but it seems to have all fallen by the wayside in favour of gaming!

Just spent quite a lot on Amazon Shock but am still trying to justify the QVC Velvetiser deal to myself!

Sunshineskies · 14/10/2020 00:09

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl my teen dd and all her friends (male and female) are into colour changing strip lights at the moment. There’s a few on the prime deals.

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 14/10/2020 00:14

@InglouriousBasterd

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but

Claire’s 50% off today and can be stacked with promo code 2W3Q for extra 30% off

Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for the code! I’ve just spent way more then I should have, Claire’s is my childhood happy place Grin
IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 14/10/2020 00:18

Just bought this KeySmart Pro - (Compact Key Holder w LED Light & Tile Smart Technology) for DH on prime deal - £10-15 off usual price. Really like that it is rechargeable as DH recently misplaced keys only to realise his Tile had run out of battery 🤦‍♀️

@InglouriousBasterd. Thank you so much for sharing the Clair’s codes. First time shopping there and delighted with what I got for DD dress up box and everyday hair. Only issue was the vast amount of stuff on the site and trying to narrow down my basket to a non-insane amount of times Angry

SparklingDinosaurs · 14/10/2020 00:58

That was suppose to be a Blush not a Angry sorry

SparklingDinosaurs · 14/10/2020 01:03

@UselessInDisguise

Code 8s2a gets an additional 40% off sale at claires
Oh no I’ve just seen this code too now and it’s working Sad wish I’d read full thread before buying arrrggg
whatwillicallmyself · 14/10/2020 01:50

Thanks @buckeejit and the @Thegriffle, I spent hours looking for things just to get that flippin tenner off, it wasnt worth all the time I spent but I couldnt let it go, I thought it had to be dispatched and sold by amazon because none of my stuff was eligible but after looking at some of your stuff I realised it only has to be fulfilled by amazon, but its definately only certain products cos I tried things sold by amazon and fullfilled by amazon and they werent going through. My heads wrecked. Finally got though.

Chocoholicmumma · 14/10/2020 05:14

If you signed up to the Boots No7 advent calendar waiting list check your email. Just had my invite through to order early before it goes on sale tomorrow.

Dovesandkisses · 14/10/2020 06:11

So I have convinced myself I need a milk frother but the Lavazza seems to stay at the same price. Has anyone got any recommendations for slightly cheaper one? I want to spend £30 max if possible as it will be just for me. Thanks.

I’ve decided that DD would like some kind of heated hair appliance for Christmas. She is 13 and currently obsessed with doing her hair in the mornings - Learning all these wee intricate plaits etc on youtube. Her hair is ridiculously thick and poker straight. She definitely doesn’t need straighteners but I was wondering about a curling iron. (Is that even what they are called?!)

Budget preferably around £40 so that I can either buy it for her or I can put it on her amazon wishlist and her nanny will buy it.

I have no idea where to start though - any recommendations? (If either a curling iron or some other hair device that would be popular with a 13 year old)

Thanks bargain hunters!
