Morning all.

Tesco cake this morning. It was just a treat shop because we're going away tomorrow for the weekend and we're not worrying about what we eat.

Crazy I'm a big meal planner. I normally do 2 weeks planning in advance until I get closer to winter then it's the whole month. I tend to find winter comfort meals freeze better so I can bulk cook and stick in the freezer.

MarshmallowManiac · 23/07/2020 11:33

Crazy sorry to hear about your dog.

Haha the only criteria for me to enjoy it Wreck is that it is a brownie Grin I would definitely try it Wink Have you tried this one www.health.com/nutrition/low-carb-pasta

Neros hope you have a lovely trip (with lots of treats), we're going soon and we will be taking lots of treats too Wink Must try this bulk cooking lark. Smile

MarshmallowManiac · 23/07/2020 11:50

Hwww.belleandboo.com/1095-cross-stitch-patterns Have you seen these guys, they have some nice Winter/Christmas ones.

Marshmallow lots of those are American plus chickpeas and lentils are carbs. They have the soy bean and black bean ones in Aldi which I have but they're spaghetti rather than pasta

MarshmallowManiac · 23/07/2020 11:54

Oh ok Wreck Smile

pussycatinboots · 23/07/2020 12:18

Nero Have a lovely break.

Wreck We're having pasta for lunch now Grin

CrazyBaubles · 23/07/2020 14:12

Wreck I try not to have garlic bread with pasta sometimes fail though and I make a really nice pasta sauce which is just veg (tomatoes, peppers, carrots, onions) and I tend to cook green beans and sweetcorn to throw in with it too so that's not so bad.

Me dad has lasagne, chips and garlic bread!

I've had a look at the link Marshmallow but I am not allowed to buy anymore - my second one (that I treated myself to) came today Xmas Smile

Ddog has an infection in his eye. He's on eye drops and painkillers so he's pretty much passed out on the sofa bed next to me while I'm working. He seems ok but I worry - it doesn't seem long ago that we lost DDog1 and I need ddog2 to be around for a long time yet..

MarshmallowManiac · 23/07/2020 14:37

Oh I see Crazy maybe next time Grin
Hope your dog feels better really soon.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 23/07/2020 15:10

Aww poor CrazyDog Sad

I don't have a dog (Watching Paul O'Grady "For the Love of Dogs " is enough for me ) but all animals are so vunerable when they're ill.
Some know when you're trying to help them.

Our cats look up numbers for HitMen online Xmas Hmm

Just watched Emmerdale Classic (It was Christmas but not a Merry One )

QVC Christmas in July tomorrow , I had a look at the previews .
Lots of candles (not in this house though) , chocolate -yum and Crap From Clearance .

pussycatinboots · 23/07/2020 16:33

Crazy I bet it's easier to get drops in your DDog than it was for me with Charlie Grin hopefully in 24-48hrs he's feeling better and at least he hasn't got the lampshade of shame Shock

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 23/07/2020 17:50

Glad DDog has nothing too major Crazy :)

A friend saw this in a local shop today!

WreckTangled · 23/07/2020 18:02

Most I obviously love Christmas but even I think it's way too soon to have it in shops. It's still summer!

Crazy poor ddog

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 23/07/2020 18:11

I agree wreck! I don't mind a small amount appearing once schools are back and once we are in October go for it in my opinion but July is too early.

pussycatinboots · 23/07/2020 18:40

most that kind of explains why there is hardly any gardening stuff in B&M at the mo!
I honestly thing that Christmas "themed" stuff should not be on shelves until after the kids go back to school at the very least although Tesco did have Easter eggs in before NYE 🤯😲🤣

MarshmallowManiac · 23/07/2020 18:49

The shops have gone a bit mad atm haven't they, they don't really need to be out until the kids go back. I love Christmas with a passion, but I don't feel they need to be out yet. I think now should be when people are beginning to plan and maybe buy a few bits for stockings etc. It's a bit early for all that! Shock

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 23/07/2020 18:59

I won't lie I was looking at Festive's catalogue earlier! Once they open I will be heading there :)

MarshmallowManiac · 23/07/2020 19:06

Do you have to be trade to buy from there Most?

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 23/07/2020 19:13

I live near the factory which has an outlet shop Marshmallow which is open to all :)

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 23/07/2020 19:13

Costco usually have their full Christmas ( or "The Holidays as they call it being an American brand) out in September .
But they always run three months ahead for Trade buyers .

I went to Waitrose to get a couple of things that aren't available anywhere else . So I am Xmas Smile To have got them.

MarshmallowManiac · 23/07/2020 19:16

Thanks Most my MIL doesn't live too far from the shop, maybe when we visit her Wink

MarshmallowManiac · 23/07/2020 19:18

Love John Lewis' Christmas baubles, when they get them in we go and have a look, and may or may not have a squidgy cake in the cafe Wink

TheWoollybacksWife · 23/07/2020 19:23

Crazy I hope your DDog is better soon.

Forgive me fellow countdowners for I have sinned Xmas Sad. I caved and gave DH a present today that I bought for him for Christmas. It was LFC related so I wanted him to have it. I'm sorry. For my penance I'll sing three verses of Away In A Manger

pussycatinboots · 23/07/2020 19:56

Woolly A full rendition of YNWA would be more appropriate tbh Xmas Grin
DH is a Chelsea fan, so I've bought him some extra chocs and a box of wine today to stop him from being a misery guts. Xmas Wink

FireflyGirl · 23/07/2020 19:57

Do you know three verses, Woolly, or are you just going to sing the same one three times Wink
