Nice here today , I'm going to drop DH at work then do some tidying and washing .
Couple of other things to sort out them tomorrow ...........I'm off for a l-o-n-g drive ( to DParents)

I am not a gardener but I planted some nastursiams and they're getting leaves ( bit late in the year but I think they'll do well)
Need to make sure they're fed and watered .

Morning! I've just woken up. I did over 16000 steps yesterday which is loads for me, ds did over 20000. We had a really lovely day but didn't get home until 9:30. Lazy day today and it's already hot.

Beautiful and sunny here, productive day so far, have been to Lidl, and washed (and ironed) some clothes for holiday, so having a little rest and a fruit tea with you all for now.

I just rustled up a fruitcake (for DParents ) . You know when you make one for no particular reason, it turns out brilliant .
But when its for a special do ( birthday or Christmas ) fate conspires ?

I used the rest of the Amarretto on the sultanas and Stork ( lighter than butter) . It looks quite nice , not all the fruit has sunk to the bottom ! I used one of those liners , so nothing stuck . Win
