Warm and sunny here. Verging on hot Grin tomorrow isn't looking as good though.

Mrsmadevans · 18/07/2020 10:23

Morning everyone 👋
It's not very nice weather here overcast ☹️ Grrr!

Mrsmadevans · 18/07/2020 10:24

Enjoy the weather Wreck 🤗

Mrsmadevans · 18/07/2020 10:24

Meant to ask you Wreck are you finished work now for the summer?

Mrsmadevans · 18/07/2020 10:26

Just about to go to Mum And Bob . I fully expect a histrionic crying session today . FML.

pussycatinboots · 18/07/2020 10:31

Fluffy, I had to use the man-size nappies on Dad just before he died. I think that might be overkill🤞🏻
Wearing 2 pairs of a-size-too-snug pants and night time pads seems to be ok - I'm still in pj bottoms tho slattern
Still raining here, nice weather for 🐠🐟☔

pussycatinboots · 18/07/2020 10:32

Mrs you need earplugs!

NerosFiddle · 18/07/2020 10:33

Morning all

A day for the ducks here too

HairsprayBabe · 18/07/2020 10:35

@fireflygirl I've asked for the land registry details so I can chase it - won't hear till Monday now though

Making the most of possibly our last child free weekend with a very indulgent lie in DH just made me a cappuccino and I am trying to enjoy doing nothing for a while Smile

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 18/07/2020 10:40

Mrs I'm getting sorted to go and see my DParents soon......I haven't told them yet .
My DDad will get in a flap about what food I eat ( I'm a vegetarian so I'll take some of my "weird milk" (Soya) and take him to the supermarket )

And if I give DMum too much notice she'll hide a load of tat that I will dump .

I made up the spare room bed last time I was there , so that should be ok provided she hasn't swiped the duvet and piled a load of tat on the bed .

DH is binge watching "No Offence" ( it's actually quite good Grin ) better than most of the binge watching he's got through in Lockdown.
He WFH so starts at 7.30 and finishes at a decent time with no commute time --so he can put dinner on !

Plans today:
Washing
Do some garden tidy up
Bake a loaf
Make soup
Got some vegetarian mince in the slow cooker for lasagne
Sort out some Charity Shop things ( then find one that's open )

Ordered a re chargeable whisk thing for milk. I was ogling the Hotel Chocolat Velvertisr (even with the 20% off for being an NHS worker I thought nope ) .
Then a Smeg Milk Frother ( £150 ) but would I actually use it to justify the £ . Probably not .

Ordered a wand thing , can put Alpro in the microwave or pot , I have some Hotel Chocolate hot chocolate and away I go .
It'll be a damn site easier to store too.

HairsprayBabe · 18/07/2020 11:32

Ooh I want a milk frother I don't really like my coffee machine it's a dolche gusto one and I think the coffee is sometimes a bit vending machines I'd rather have a Nespresso and froth the milk myself 70

WreckTangled · 18/07/2020 11:37

No mrs term officially ends Monday so I have to work that day. The dc have a whole seven weeks off this year, I have 6.5 which is great.

MarshmallowManiac · 18/07/2020 12:06

Morning everyone.

Went for a run this morning, beautiful day, we are promised 27 degrees Grin

Crazy sounds like a fab night. Be gentle with him today Wink

Longleat sounds fab Wreck never been but would love to book for Christmas. Hope you're lucky with Wales, we're heading to Cornwall but worrying they will cancel too Smile

What is this zoe app please?

Jobs for today, washing, ironing, dusting and cleaning!

CrazyBaubles · 18/07/2020 12:30

boots you have my sympathy. TMI - with my issues, my periods are completely random and I've learned now to put a plastic mattress protector on after having what I now know is called 'flooding' 🤢

It sounds like a quiet day in the house with pain killers, hot water bottle, gentle tv and some Sort of craft will be just what you need.

CrazyBaubles · 18/07/2020 12:31

Histrionic crying for any particular reason MrsMad?

You're having what we would call a 'potchy' day 70 and we're doing the same. Ddog has been sick and is snoozing and I have a bit of a headache coming on.

DH is surprisingly ok this morning Marshmallow. He is very tired but he got up at 8, showered and made me tea. He also had breakfast delivered for us (I didn't know he did this but I was a nice surprise).

No real plans for the day beyond a bit of housework, a walk later and cross stitch.

MarshmallowManiac · 18/07/2020 12:42

Good to hear Crazy, that was a nice surprise treat Smile Used to suffer with erratic periods and major'flooding' too, a horrendous time. Thankfully they are behind me now. Grin I prescribe a nice, relaxing day lovely Smile

NoWordForFluffy · 18/07/2020 13:49

Oh my. I'm soggy.

I've done loads of weeding. Barely scratched the surface mind you!

I had to summons DH to collect the food I picked as it was too heavy to carry. I've had to keep walking as I'm too muddy to get in the car!

Look at my weed piles!

Ours came too, Most. It's still in the box though.

I was wet and filthy and I'm now in the bath!

I missed the rocket Sad

NoWordForFluffy · 18/07/2020 14:27

DS will love his. And I spotted that he has the Playmobil lunar rover already too this morning, so a bit of a set forming!

Sorry you missed it, Wreck. It lasted less than an hour after it was posted.

OP posts:
FireflyGirl · 18/07/2020 14:47

Mine's due before 9 pm!

Sorry you missed it, Wreck. It'd gone even before the price was updated on CCC. I saw it just as it was posted on HUKD, and knew it wouldn't last at that price which is why I posted on here as well as the bargain thread.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 18/07/2020 14:48

OOh there's few things as lovely on Christmas Morning than a BigBox Present Xmas Grin

We used to wait till the Sainsbury 50% off in Oct or Argos sale .(this was in the days before Amazon or Black Friday , the Dark Ages )

We bought a Sylvian Family Regency Hotel for DD one year , the box was so huge I covered it in Argos bags and convinced DD it was a computer thing for DH -fgrin]

MarshmallowManiac · 18/07/2020 15:22

Wow you've done lots of work Fluffy, your apples look lovely, hope you enjoyed your bath. Time for feet up, and relax with something nice in your hand Wine
