Ah Fluffy the banana poisoning of 2012 was not a good thing. I made a dessert which was kind of bread and butter pudding but with jam and bananas. Sounds yuck but was actually yum. I was so ill afterwards and I burped bananas for two weeks (glamorous I know) and I have not been able to face bananas since.

Speaking of extensions - our planning permission was granted today! Yey!

Provided I don't get made redundant, we'll get the architect to do more detailed plans and then get some tenders! Extension and new baby - what could possibly go wrong...

I have a whopper of a Spode teapot and it pours magnificently not a drip or dribble in sight - but I don't use it unless we have visitors, so it's now in the china cabinet. I'd absolutely love a dresser full of the Christmas pattern which I would obviously use all year round and which DH would not be allowed to touch.

Firefly fab news. Planners can sometimes be fickle (I worked with them for 15yrs), so it's a relief that part is over.

I have a lovely teapot from le creuset I got it at tkmaxx so didn't spend loads, dosn't drip and looks lovely.

I have been doing some hand embroidery hoops, no patterns mind just seeing what looks nice - I never know how to finish them off though!!

Beautiful Hairspray! I so admire people who can do free form embroidery. I definitely need a pattern to follow!

I'm bored of this week! I'm lacking all motivation, it has to be said.

DS has a day in school today and DD tomorrow. It's a bit odd. Hopefully they'll enjoy it though.

Our teapot is from a market stall in Poland. I love the tea light underneath it to keep it warm!

Hairspray, you're so talented! I don't have a creative bone in my body! Patterns are an absolute necessity.

Ah thank you, I just think about what I want to sew, find a sketch online then work out what stitches would look best for each part, and the felt strawberry was a 30min quick project with DSD very easy to do.

DH has just accidentally taken my pregnancy vitamins, a pregnacare, vit D, folic acid and an iron tablet... Is he going to have a baby now?

They were out on the side and he thought it was his morning tablets although god knows how because they look nothing a like 😂 he takes arthritis tablets, a multivitamin and a hay fever tablet

I'm just watching a Welsh programme about 2 women buying clothes from a charity shop and selling them and whoever makes the most money is the winner. It's all a bit pointless really but I seem to be enjoying it , Boot it might be your cup of tea being in Welsh with subtitles 😃 not your Pink y can though 😃
