Morning!

We have natural yoghurt which we put in curries. I think it's 2 months out of date currently. And still being used (individual pots / pack of 4!).

Bread mould is apparently really dangerous, so I don't pick mould off bread anymore.

It rained overnight but is dry, clear and windy now. I've just hung the washing out!

Funny you say about bread mould, fluffy, FIL had eaten some and was feeling really poorly over the weekend. We took the mick because we thought bread mould was fineBlush

Still feeling crap. We should paint a cross on our door, DS1 has come down with the cold now. DH has quarantined us all😂. My synapses in one side of my face are so sore, it’s hurting all my mouth. Feeling very woe is me atm. DD is picking up though so hopefully we shall be over it by the end of the week.

NerosFiddle · 28/01/2020 08:09

Morning all.

We had a bit more snow over night but I say it'll just be slush within the hour.

Fluffy that yoghurt would give Me anxiety Grin.

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 28/01/2020 08:16

Morning folks. Not looked out the window yet so weather could be anything. Pretty sure there isn't snow though Nero.

TheWoollybacksWife · 28/01/2020 08:33

Why it's dry, cold and sunny.

I'm loaded with a cold and have a suspicion that I've also got a UTI. DH did the station run this morning but that means he's been in my car and fiddled with all the buttons. He has to adjust the seat and the mirrors and I can live with him changing to a different radio station but turning off the heating and changing the display settings make me irrationally cross.

Mumbassa · 28/01/2020 08:52

Sinuses not bloody synapsesHmm x

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 28/01/2020 08:58

Thanks Woolly. It is safe to emerge if there is no snow. I hate my seat being changed in my car the rest I can deal with (more or less anyway).

Morning!! Veryyyyyy coldddddd out there, going work soon.

I have hit my elbow on the door, it hurts.

My Dh only moves the seat, which is fair enough as he is a lot taller than me Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 28/01/2020 10:42

We only have one car. I have to move the seat (back; I have longer legs despite being shorter) and the rear view mirror. Nothing major. I'd be annoyed if everything got changed!

Ff I'm the exact same. I'm 5"1 and dh is 6"1. I need the seat as high up and as close to the wheel as I can get it.
He also reprogrammes all my radio stations and adjusts the heating. Drives me mad.

CrazyBaubles · 28/01/2020 11:59

What is County Lines PJ?

Welcome cherry

Mumbassa whereabouts do you live?

Woolly I made a twiddle muff for my friends mum a year or so ago. She's still using it, apparently it calms her a little.

My DH has to lower my seat and push it back as far as possible (he's tall and I drive a mini). He also always leaves radio 1 on and the heaters off 😡

My face has gone dry and looks awful today although it's hurting less. And my cold is hopefully buggering off which is good!
It looks bright but freezing outside for now so fingers crossed it stays that way!

Mrsmadevans · 28/01/2020 12:12

Crazy as l understand it, the drug gangs use these children to drug run and sell to other children . It's horrendous really really abusive and dangerous for these children
Glad you feel better 😊 💐
Face still sounds sore though lovely .

Mrsmadevans · 28/01/2020 12:14

Fanny l am used to moving the mirror and seat , the DH and Dds are 6ft l am only 5ft 6 😁

Mrsmadevans · 28/01/2020 12:16

Fluffy l am the same as you m'dear. I figured that yogurt cottage cheese & that horrible Quack stuff is all gone off milk so it can't be any worse surely? 😂

Mrsmadevans · 28/01/2020 12:18

Mumba hope you are all feeling better from the Lithuania & the synapses

coronavirus 💐

Mrsmadevans · 28/01/2020 12:22

Just off to Cardiff to see house measure up and sort mortgage 😩🙄😏
Just popped in to see NDN , he wasn't very well, catheter leaking, feels poorly so called the district nurse to pop in. I expect l will be in the wrong with his Dds for doing that but bgr it l can go to Cardiff without worrying now at least.

Mumbassa · 28/01/2020 12:58

DH is 6’2 and I’m 5’2, so he’s always pushing my seat back. It drives him barmy.

I’m glad your face is feeling better, crazy, even if it isn’t looking better. I once burnt my face with a chemical exfoliant and it was so itchy and dry so I sympathise. I’m from Swansea way.

I’m sneezing like mad but I think I have regained the ability to spellGrin. The pain in my face was horrendous this morning, all into my teeth and gums and the first thing I did was google if that’s a symptom of the coronavirus. You’ve made me even worse😂. So sorry to hear your NDN was in such a state, god love him. I hope he’s managed to get sorted now. Good luck today with the house!

They do tend to go for the vulnerable, but anyone is a target really, it's scary.

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 28/01/2020 15:25

That is scary PJ. They mentioned it on last night's 999 What's Your Emergency briefly.

Mrs, those DDs should be glad you're there to help. I hope he's feeling better soon.

Did you get the mortgage sorted? It might only take 6 weeks you know!

I've not really heard much about county lines. It's scary though.

DD got smacked in the face by a toy at school today, so has had a trip to hospital and has steri strips across the wound. She has to keep it dry for a few days. She's fine about it though!

I'm plodding through my church cross stitch. It's rather long-winded and still doesn't look like much yet! I'm sure it'll start to come together at some point soon. Xmas Grin

Ouch! Hope she's okay, Fluffy.

I'm just back from my show, pulled into the drive and saw what I thought was one of the cats next to the dustbin. Then it waddled away! Hedgehog 😍 first one I've seen in nearly 7 years living here. Cue me fumbling round the back garden to put out some cat food that the cats will probably eat instead of what's in their bowls Hmm. There's water out there as well (for the cats) Hope he fills his tummy then goes back to bed!

Mrsmadevans · 28/01/2020 23:28

Fluffy , my NDN DDS refused to insure his car this week, he doesn't drive anymore (800 for him for renewal) and wouldn't even sort the insurance for him ie insure it for him to just keep it there for him, would have been so much cheaper and he would have paid, he has had a car for 72 yrs and l don't understand because when they came here they used the car because they come on the train Hmm .The DD2 took it from here and is supposedly going to use it but we know sure as eggs she will sell it Hmm He cried his eyes out to us , we were just going after seeing him and his DD rang , he was crying on the phone to her and she was shouting her head off at him, she didn't know we were there, she text me with the excuses because she knew we were on to it. Poor NDN he is so sad Sad
We got the mortgage sorted YAY! We had a good look at the house and it is lovely we are otm with it, not overly big but just right, lovely kitchen and bathroom, big lounge ,nice and light she won't have to do anything to it , 2 nice sized bedrooms and a small drive in the front. It is perfect for her , took us 10 mins today to get there , it's just over 3 miles from her work. Just perfect, thank God it has taken us 7/8 months to find this .
Poor DD , l expect you were so worried about her bless you Flowers it will be healed in no time though, she sounds a brave little girl, a right chip off her Mummy's block Smile
Fanny, l can see you in the driving seat , eyes narrowed , 'l fought the law and the law won' blasting on the cd player Grin
It's terrible, those poor kids, they don't have a good start as it is and they get sucked into this life and once in it l can see it is almost impossible to leave . Very sad Sad
Mumba 'I’m sneezing like mad but I think I have regained the ability to spell' did you mean SMELL? Wot wiv yer synapses playing up m'dear GrinGrin Thank you for the good luck, fingers crossed now that everything goes well Smile Hope you are all feeling better now Flowers
Firefly , just mentioned this to DH, who said he saw one the other day and he put cat biscuits out for him, water is always there for the birds on the ground anyway . He forgot to tell me Hmm
he's the one who needs the twiddle muff not me Grin
Been a long day but got a lot done Smile
l have better get to bed now, night everyone Smile
