@recklessgran I'm not sure about Black Friday but Nike have a really good Plus account style deal where you get discount and free shipping, and I'm sure if you put a birthday (say first week of December as the date) in you get around 20% off - might be worth a try? And would give you time to see whether there's a good Black Friday deal on the trainers?

Thanks for all the men’s slipper info. My DH is sooo picky with slippers his current ones are actually falling to pieces but he doesn’t like his feet too warm, doesn’t like mules, doesn’t like the bottom too padded and must be washable because his feet sweat!

So- trying to decide on a mobile to be used without a SIM for ds to play fortnite and listen to Spotify on- thought it would have more longevity than an iPod as he could get a sim in a few years.
So do I go for a new phone like the xiaomi mi 8 for around £180 or a refurb Samsung s8 for around £240.
The only reason I’d be going for the Samsung is Because for some reason that would have the wow factor for ds. He has a thing for Samsung...
