Just ordered a load of things I don't need on amazon. Little clothes steamer for dh seems like a good deal. Also the electric oil diffusers are vg

I am looking for an iPad if anyone spots them going on offer (hopefully will be some reduced on Black Friday)

John Lewis website says they have started their Black Friday sale but can’t see any on offer?

If anyone happens to see switch joy-cons (in any colour!) in Black Friday deals I would be most grateful. I didn't realise how pricy they are and it's top of DS wish list!

I must have upset Johnny Boden, I used to get loads of codes and I didn't even get one for my birthday this year. I always used them or passed then on.

@Redwinestillfine we got a nespresso krups coffee machine from John Lewis as a wedding gift 6.5 years ago and it still works perfectly. You can buy non nespresso pods that fit in, we quite like the coffee in hema and tk maxx is good for them. We have the small capsules.

@Whattodowithaminute I wouldn’t depend on AliExpress to deliver in time for Christmas at this stage. I’m still waiting on something I ordered on 1st October, and it only gets slower closer to Christmas. You can pay more for faster delivery, but it will swallow whatever savings you’re making and then probably wouldn’t be worth the compromise on safety standards and quality control.

@Redwinestillfine - I used to have a proper bean to cup machine but now just have a lavazza I think Jolie. It’s fab - pretty basic but small and makes a great coffee. I really love it.

Downside is the pods are less available than nespresso ( online or in JL or waitrose mainly). Upside is lavazza has just switched to making fully compostable pods across the range so less plastic wastage if that matters!

The Echo Dot is currently £22 on Amazon. I got one last Black Friday for £24.99 so I can't see them going any lower.

whattodowithaminute build a bear have done teddies of Snorlax, charmander, meowth, psysduck. I bought charmander and meowth in excellent condition for £8 each from eBay, by setting up alerts. Snorlax and psysduck I got in-store during their £8 off offers they often do if you sign up to their club. those 2 are still in store so would be a fun experience over Xmas. plus if he outgrows them they are easy to sell on, dd wants the bulbasaur and I can't find it for less that £50!!

Yay! Echo dot on Amazon for £22. I suppose it might go lower but it’s my last big item to buy so I’m pleased enough with that. I might look for a couple of smart plugs

@eastmidswarwicknightnanny I’ve just got dgs to take off his shoes to check the size and ordered those slippers for him.
