Some people will buy monthly game passes which will bring the cost of going digital down, but discs can be bought second hand which is a saver - hard to weigh up.

Definitely recommend the tiny treasure dolls, they even smell like babies. I bought dd the girl/boy pack when they were reduced a while back & she loves them. I even find myself cradling them a little when I'm tidying up, can't quite bring myself to grab them by the legs and lob them in the toy box like I do with her other dolls

Really annoyed - just realised that I didn't remember seeing one of the salt rock hoodies I'd ordered for dh - just managed to log back in only to discover that they had cancelled it several days after I ordered due to a lack of stock - it was a similar colour to the one that ds2 has and as dh gets to do loads of stuff with ds1, ds2 would have been thrilled to have a similar sort of top to dh in the same way that dh and ds1 have rugby tops for the same team. And as they send so many emails through and as I've been busy so only skimmed for important things, completely missed it. Feeling all deflated now as I don't have my bargain fleece (also as it's cold dh wears the ones he has a lot so could do with a new one as the others are beginning to look a bit scruffy so it would have been good to have one for christmas so he could go out and be warm and vaguely respectable!

PSA anyone with HSBC or first direct and a visa card, get yourself signed up to the visa reward scheme. They give you cashback from certain retailers, changes regularly. It's not usually loads but if you were buying from them anyway every little makes a difference!

@Restlessinthenorth I also liked the look of the Mahabis slippers for my DP but decided too pricey, so went with these M&S ones for £17.50 plus a 20% off code, which look a similar style to the mahabis and DP loves them! He’s in his early 30s and is very fussy with footwear and always has to buy himself expensive new trainers each year 😆 so i was surprised he was so into them but literally he’s constantly wearing them and they look really good. DGCs have helpfully given me their Christmas lists so now I'm on a mission to save as much as possible on their presents. I'm fine with the girls but hopeless where the lads are concerned.
