I have another request, sorry, had forgotten about this one. Dd has asked for a reborn doll. The prices! 😱 Has anyone seen anything similar not as crazily priced. She wants a really realistic looking baby doll.

PoopaPoopa · 21/11/2019 11:46

Thank you @Moomin8

Onlylonelymonster · 21/11/2019 11:52

Ninjago Stormbringer Dragon on Amazon for £20. Looks like a great set and a bargain.

margaritasbythesea · 21/11/2019 12:01

Thanks for the giant soft toy suggestions. Im going to hold fire for the giraffe. If it gies down ti £23ish i can put up with that. Thanks Tentontessie. It can be for her birthday on 1st Jan.

PoopaPoopa - re reborns I got one if the amazon Chinese cheapies a couple of years ago for dd and it has been fine. Looking back, she would have preferred one with a cloth body, so that's a tip for you. Also, Ashton Drake dolls come up very frequently on ebay almost untouched. Many of them don't take a dummy at all though, and this was a problem for dd. Some have magnetic dummues but not one that dd liked.

PinkJam · 21/11/2019 12:12

@PoopaPoopa For the men’s branded toiletries Molton Brown usually do good offers/reductions on Black Friday.

PinkJam · 21/11/2019 12:13

Does anyone know of a discount code for Rex London? Have loads of stocking fillers and presents to buy from there. Thanks Smile

wibdib · 21/11/2019 12:24

@soupforbrains I don’t know how cool they would be considered but I’ve bought dc’s school rucksacks in TK Maxx. Ds 1 had a Jeep bag that lasted 4 years (and he stuffed a lot of stuff in it) when it began to show its age. He couldn’t find anything else he liked so I bought the same again off eBay for £14 and it’s done 3 years and is still going strong: be careful as some of their bags are really sturdy and well made; others flimsy.
Ds2 has a victorinox one from there that is now on its 5th year and doing well although he doesn’t stuff it as full as his brother!

I’ve always bought from them in person so not sure what their online selection is like.

Thatsnotmyflamingo · 21/11/2019 12:26

Does anyone know if Sainsbury's do anything for Black Friday? I need to put an order in and I'm wondering if I should wait or not.

Fantababy · 21/11/2019 12:30

Does anyone know if ASOS ever do deals on their gift cards? I've a couple to get.

Also, I've seen a few people mention Costa gift cards. Do they do £5 or is £10 the minimum spend? They're add on gifts for teens so I don't really fancy going as high as £10 and DH will kill me if I do!

Shitfuckoh · 21/11/2019 12:38

@PinkJam i've sent you a PM with referral link for rex london

andi76 · 21/11/2019 12:40

Not specifically Christmas, but they have got some stocking fillers - there's 30% off across most of the Scout Store (including Beaver/Cub/Scout unform)

Uniform even.

TwistedAnkle · 21/11/2019 12:42

Poopa for the man in his 40s Clinique has a men's set of good toiletries on half price £35 down from £70.
For the gin lovers would you consider making your own? I've recently made the marmalade and bay leaf one and it's gorgeous. Buy cheap gin but good quality marmalade and some nice bottles to put it in. Recipe here

bettyskitchen · 21/11/2019 12:44

Thanks @IggyAce - 29th is in my diary for half price sippers!

Whattodowithaminute · 21/11/2019 12:48

DS has just decided he wants all of the Pokemon plush toys-6 of them at £20 each-anyone know of offers at all?

Elpheba · 21/11/2019 12:53

@Fantababy instore you can put whatever you like on a Costa card as I’ve put £7 on two before for a coffee and cake and bought some £5 ones too.

Elphaba17 · 21/11/2019 12:57

PoopaPoopa, the tiny treasures dolls from Argos are pretty realistic compared to most.

RJnomore1 · 21/11/2019 12:59

@Whattodowithaminute I’ve bought them from eBay import from China for a lot less before. Which ones is he after and I’ll have a look for you.

GeoffreyAndBungle · 21/11/2019 13:01

@Whattodowithaminute last year I got DS some Pokémon plush toys from Ali Express, might be worth a look? Would need to order soon for Xmas delivery.

PinkJam · 21/11/2019 13:02

@Shitfuckoh Thank you! Smile

Sixp · 21/11/2019 13:13

I just received my Hype lucky dip. It contained 2 backpacks (one red and one Spongebob), a pink running jacket, 2 leggings (1 pink, one blue), 2 pink tees, 2 cropped grey sweatshirts with pink writing and a pencil case! Brilliant value, except my dd doesn’t really do pink so I’m going to have to work on that! The leggings look quite short for age 13...

PinkJam · 21/11/2019 13:14

@PoopaPoopa Chillys do a yellow bottle

Kraggle · 21/11/2019 13:14

I got a plush Eevee and Pikachu from eBay for £3.69 each and located in the Uk so delivery was quick.

Tesco have 25% off clothing til the 25th

BigmouseLittlehouse · 21/11/2019 13:26

@margaritasbythesea - on the regretting giant toys. My DS (7) was desperate for the Melissa and Doug giant panda. I was a meanie and made him save up and by it with his own money Blush because I thought it would be a waste/forgotten.

Have to admit he still loves it and it genuinely seems to make him happy having it in his bedroom!
