Everyone always talking about food they love at Christmas.. so I thought I’d be a bah humbug (even though I love christmas) and ask what you hate...
For me it has to be mince pies.....🤢
Christmas pudding and Christmas cake...
Any type of pate...

So let’s go...

None of the starters that everyone seems to enjoy smoked salmon, pate, prawns.
Not keen on Christmas pudding, I do one which is quite light and has loads of cherries in, the traditional ones are too heavy for me.

Other people's buffet food has to be my worst though, nasty sandwiches, beige battered or pastried stuff that all tastes the same, wet meat, food that's supposed to be hot served cold, stinky pickles, all picked over by loads of hands. Bleurgh.

AnotherRoadsideAttraction · 20/12/2018 21:31
  • Christmas cake (yuck!)
  • The mince in mince pies (I'll eat the crust...)
  • Christmas pudding (but I like the fire & the brandy butter cream stuff!)
MyPatronusIsAHyena · 20/12/2018 21:31

Parsnips [santa]

JamesBondFilm · 20/12/2018 21:33

Lukewarm half heated up from frozen buffet food that is soggy not crisp as designed.

Taffeta · 20/12/2018 21:34

Bread sauce - bleurgh

Partridgeamongstthepigeons · 20/12/2018 21:37

Christmas pudding not overseen

Partridgeamongstthepigeons · 20/12/2018 21:37

Over keen

ihopeyouwitchesareready · 20/12/2018 21:41

egg nog

cricketmum84 · 20/12/2018 21:45

Turkey - still buy a huge one though! I like to freeze all the leftover meat and do it in curries and chillis etc to liven it up!

All the nuts! I hate nuts!

Lobsterquadrille2 · 20/12/2018 21:45

The only things on my plate will be bread sauce (as much as I can snaffle), roast potatoes, green vegetables unless they have come into contact with the poisonous sprouts, and gravy.

Dislike Christmas cake, pudding and mince pies. Cheese and biscuits, coffee and chocolates are quite enough.

PeterIanStaker · 20/12/2018 21:51

Pigs in blankets. Sausages are only acceptable when they're really well done and browned, but they always stay pale and flaccid when they're wrapped in bacon.

LittleLlamaontheduskyroad · 20/12/2018 21:52

Don't like roast turkey, we've never had it and never will.

I love pretty much everything else. Even the sprouts, I love those.

rabbitfoodadvocate · 20/12/2018 21:52

My MIL soggy parsnips. Dread them every year!

ivykaty44 · 20/12/2018 21:56

Bread sauce
Brandy butter or cream

AgentCooper · 20/12/2018 21:57

Urrrrghh, almost all of it. Cold, dry turkey makes me feel sick. With lukewarm gravy and overcooked, rapidly cooling vegetables. Paté, prawns, Christmas pudding, Christmas cake.

We're having a big ham in Coke instead.

sunshineandthunder · 20/12/2018 21:57

Anything with sage in it 🤮

Ragwort · 20/12/2018 21:58

Sprouts.
Love everything else Blush.

ByeGermsByeWorries · 20/12/2018 21:58

I hate Mince pies, Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, any kind of fruit cake really, don't like nuts, cranberry sauce, alcohol, and cheese footballs/tuc creme filled biscuits 🤢🤢🤢

Dumbledoresgirl · 20/12/2018 21:58

Christmas pudding. But it doesn't really impinge on me as I never eat it and always ensure there is something else for pudding. Mince pies are fine, even Christmas cake has grown on me though it would never be my first choice. But the pudding? Yuck.

SellFridges · 20/12/2018 21:59

Christmas pudding.
Christmas cake.
Stollen.
Turkey.
Sprouts.

Igottastartthinkingbee · 20/12/2018 22:01

Arghh!!! So many Christmas cake haters!!!!! I make my close friends a mini one each every Christmas Blush they probably hate and don’t like to say!!!!

ipswichwitch · 20/12/2018 22:01

Sprouts. The only vegetable the kids are allowed to refuse without trying because they’re rank. I’ve had a go at them many times, and no amount of twattery with bacon/butter/whatever can make them even vaguely edible.

pinkmagic1 · 20/12/2018 22:01

Sprouts - food of Satan.

redsummershoes · 20/12/2018 22:03

turkey - dry and without much flavour
chocolate selection boxes - much prefer plain chocolate bars

BumDisease · 20/12/2018 22:04

Christmas cake, Christmas pudding and mince pies. Fucking rotten!
