So, usually I’d be hella annoyed about waking up so early, but paddy and I fell asleep once everyone left just before 6pm last night, and we only woke up now!! Whoops we slept through Christmas Day evening 😂

Today’s plan is pretty chilled; it’s football day so that’s this afternoon sorted, yay! We will nip to the local shop at some point as were out of essentials. Need to sort the living room out as it looks like a bombs hit it, and we need to open our presents 😂
There will be another roast dinner too

Wheelie - I hope your drs appointment goes well and I’m glad your kids have had a blast! Ooo birthday prep that’s exciting! New Years never been a big deal for us, not sure why, it just doesn’t bother us in the slightest! New Year’s Day would be my mums birthday, so we go to the headstone and lay flowers. It’s just another normal day really. Now Xmas is out the way, 2019 is operation finish line for us! getting everything ready for my beautiful wee baby girl! House needs sorting and the nursery needs finishing. Ideally want everything done by the end of February in case she decides to appear early! So exciting! 🤰🏻❤️

Morning! Another day of playing today! Then round the in laws for me to cook dinner for later on. I’m doing 3 different meat, so it should be fun, ha ha. It’ll be fine as long as DH helps, not hinders, me (unlikely!).

Wheelchair Thank you It is very exciting, my girls are really happy excited, they even got twin dolls for Christmas.
What a busy new year you will have!. We won’t be doing much really, I don’t drink and DH doesn’t drink much so we’ll probably just have a party with the girls. I hope your doctors appointment goes well.

Acey It’s custom to have a big sleep on a Christmas. We went to my Mum’s so me and my husband ended up sleeping and leaving my parents to look after the kids for a couple of hours!. And thank you for your congratulations.

Paddy and I are at our local shop just buying a couple of essentials, we walked past a couple of people and I could hear them whispering ‘is that George Ezra??’ I’ve actually never thought about it until now, but he really does look like him! He’s always been so very handsome but it wasn’t until someone else pointed it out that I’ve seen it for myself haha. Addie loves any music by George Ezra too, always gets her kicking away

My Fitbit says I have no pulse, well that’s a bummer 😂

Fluffy Oh that’s great!. I’ve been on multiple sites like this trying to find someone to have just a general chat with but I’ve never found one!. It’s nice sometimes to just be able to pop in to people and say hi.

We’re going to visit my Nan in hospital today and then we’re going to spend the rest of the day in having some Boxing Day lunch and playing with the toys!.

Just got home from the hospital. My nans not well at all unfortunately. Going to order a take out tonight as I’m not feeling up to cooking now.

Afternoon everyone back from the parents, we were there a long time because they hadn't unwrapped their Christmas presents at all and Dad and Mum both needed showers and the house needed tidying and their presents put away. Dad was dying when we walked in and refusing brekky , l made him poached eggs on toast and left him to eat while l showered Mum , she is crying all the time about how she is so down about 'Daddy' . Anyway by the time l finished Mum he had eaten his brekky and we opened their presents. Dad had a new pr of trousers, shirt and jumper and after his shower, Mum does his important bits l put them on him , he looked much better and he spotted his new shaver took it out of the box and shaved using it , it was the most animated he had been for ages . Here's hoping the anti D's are finally working . They had a lovely day with us yesterday and l am hoping the penny has dropped with Dad that this is his depression making him feel really ill. Fingers crossed

We are going shopping with our Christmas cash today! Big surprise? Husband was called into work and now is off work for a week!! They decided to upgrade the work system and stuff so he doesn't go back to work until next Wednesday.

My iron infusion is set for Friday at noon. I saw the dietitian today and they want to give me a feeding tube directly into my small intestine. This is scary but I also agree with her that it's probably needed at this point in time. I'm not sure how I feel right now

I think it must be an old person thing to refer to their spouse as Dad/Daddy/Mom/Mommy/Mother? Because my grandparents did it called each other Mommy and Daddy. Today this little old man at the doctors office was talking to his wife and was all 'Oh oh check this out Mother! Look at these cute puppies in this magazine' haha it was really sweet.

Wheel it's Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. RTE are showing two films every day. So that's my week planned.

Wheelie aw you poor girl , if you need the tube then so be it but ah bless you , think you will feel much better from it though ime they have given my children that l looked after a much better life. Better absorption and they put weight on as well bless them and you . Hope it really works well for you sweetie you got this iron infusion in the bag you will be fine l am sure don't worry sweetie
