It's tomorrow there (Still Thursday here for an hour and a half) but I want to do the countdown!

Ugh, I have come down with yet another cold! Jesus wept this is ridiculous. I’ve been poorly more times these past few months than I have been throughout the previous years of my life combined!
I know pregnancy weakens your immune system but come on!
I think this is Karma for being too cocky before I got pregnant! “Oh dear, you have a cold, that sucks! I don’t ever get poorly, must have an awesome immune system’ ha.ha.ha. Oh how I bragged.. aye famous last words indeed!

Mrs - I’m glad your dad’s kidney function hasn’t got worse, that’s something at least. I’m sorry to hear about his iron though, poor soul must be exhausted and fed up with it all! Can’t be easy for you either having to deal with all this I’m not surprised you read them the riot act, I would have done the same! Hooray, it’s about time you got some help. I’m so happy they are going to be getting some care and that will hopefully take some of the stress of you also ❤️
Excuse my language but sciatica is a bastard as my dad would say 😂 I had a few hours of relief but it’s back to being bad again grrrrr!
3 scans have said girl so surely she can’t be a boy after all that 😂 we’ve got another 4d scan booked for the new year, as they said it needs to be done before 30 weeks, as after that the placenta gets too big and I won’t be able to see much of her!
Aye, you know I would always pick the flamingoes when given the choice, but unfortunately, my light up flamingo jumper no longer fits, I can’t get it over my Addie bump! I have my flamingo t shirt on underneath though

I'm not normally an ill-type, but I've been on a cold / sinus problem merry go round the last couple of months. I blame the air con / hot air heating at work and the lack of proper, sustained, cold weather to kill the bugs off. I hope you're better soon, Acey.

(I was ill for what felt like 3 years due to 2 full pregnancies in 2 years then sleep deprivation. Then it all started again with preschool germs!)

School run, town for my glasses, nip to Waitrose and kitchen-cleaning today. Need to marinate the chicken for our curry later too! Then school run again!

Up to Brynmawr first to pick up some upholstery foam for an old footstool , Mum is doing it supposedly . I am going there then, going to do the graves . tidy them up and put the Christmas wreaths on. Dh is doing a new Tv aerial for their Tv in the conserve, when the men did the shower room the cable had to be scrapped so he is doing that today . Dad wants some old style light bulbs lol , he doesn't like the new energy saving ones! We have some in the garage so he can have those . So that is today mapped out pretty much !

Curry sounds delish yummy ! I love shopping in WR it is so different to Aldi . I shop in Aldi/Tesco mostly but aspire to WR mwahahahahaha. Think you are right about the air con , l think this is why peeps are very often poorly after they have been on hols , hope you feel better over the weekend m'dear .

I've left DS to the crèche, and now me and dd will go to the butchers at 9, then pick up the other bits and pieces. The weather is supposed to be awful tomorrow so need to try and get everything done before then.

Christmas jumper day , Christmas lunch and DS2's nasal flu vaccination at school.

Looked at Christmassy things, just had a ham and cheese omelette and a hot chocolate, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas playing in the background. 🎄🎅😋🍫🎄🎅

Oh my god. It's blummin' freezing today! I'm just sitting on a bloody cold train waiting to go home as I couldn't face the walk from town after having walked there. It's still a mile from the station, but closer than town! 😂

Santa train tomorrow in -5 temps, wind and snow, apparently. Woooo. Not!

Let’s face it, aside from paddy, no one else at work particularly cares that I’m pregnant, it’s not big exciting news for them

Fluffy wrap up warm tomorrow. We're going to a Santa Sunday thing, but luckily it's indoors.

Yup, tis bitter here today. And my socks kept falling off, so I bought some new hiking socks (I'm wearing boots so no one will see them!!) this morning en route. (And a cardigan, as my layers were not enough!).

1 more parcel posted. Cub badges collected. Head cold getting worse, but being staved off with massive amounts of drugs, including my liquid iron to help the run-downness (?! does that even exist as a word?) (alcohol will be added to the mix shortly). Christmas lunch in an hour. Turkey hat already deployed to much festive glee (from Claire's, complete with sprouts, and it "Gobbles" when you press a button!).

Phil Hairy Baby do loads of Father Ted stuff, and some very very funny things that Irish people really get, where others may not.....(things like the "Have you left the immersion on?" mug....omg how many times were we all asked that as DCs and teens?!)

Afternoon all! Just popping in to say that at 10.09 this morning our little boy Laszlo Dennis came into the world. He weighs 8lbs exactly and is 21 inches long. He looks exactly like Algy and has a full head of hair, he is absolutely perfect!.

I went into labour last night and was booked straight in for an EMCS. I might not be as active as I’m enjoying time as a new family of 6.

Went and picked up the Foam for Mum , got DSis to come up and help to put the Dec's and the tree up while l cleaned through and DH cooked the food .She bought her stapler up and we stapled it together. I'm watching Christmas movies with my kid and carer today. Azrael is on the cat tree trying to give wee Lilah a bath and she's kind of letting him. Sometimes she'll paw his face because she doesn't want to be licked where he's licking her. He's just being a good big brother.

Today I discovered a game changer! So after dishes are washed in my house they sit on a towel on top of the cabinet to dry. Today I discovered they make an electric little dish dryer! I'm going to have to get one I think
