frangelino Devon is sadly not great for jobs, ditto Cornwall, it's why we lived there for such a brief period of time. Yorkshire is massive but what I've seen of it is beautiful countryside, DH's grandma was from Harrogate so I've visited there once.
firefly I can see that how would happen, glad it was just the windscreen wipers though. If it's any consolation I often think my stomach growling or the radiators are something scary at night!

AFM - I suffer from irritable uterus in pregnancy, painful shitty contractions that do nothing - with ds2 I was in labour and didn't realise it as the pain is the same. I overdid it today thanks to shitty bus driver, had a hospital app. Even though there was room on the bus he made me fold my buggy which has to come apart in 2 bits plus the shopping basket. I had to do it whilst holding ds2 and trying to get DD to sit down, I then had to hold them both in my lap for the hour journey. Can't pass my driving test soon enough!
