Acey, did you mean to show us your partial name and birth date? And had you told us when your birthday is?! Xmas Grin I can't remember if you had!

Busy old day at work today. It's non bloody stop right now.

Seafood, your bus journey sounds awful. Did you used to live nearer to the school, or have you always had that trip? You must be exhausted. Flowers

Philomena - you said it from the beginning when I had my first scan and she wouldn’t cooperate then either 😂 I think she’s going to be a wee troublemaker that’s for sure 😂 I will definitely have the reins and pushchair to hand when Addie’s walking 😂

Frangelico - I absolutely adore your kids names, they are wonderful and so unique! Aww that’s exactly how it feels, she’s the only thing getting me through at the moment. Addie really is my driving force and motivation to be the best possible person, and best possible mummy I can be Grin

My wonderful, amazing grandad just sent me a picture of the maternity Christmas pjs he has bought me. He is in the UK but he’s coming home to Ireland next week. He also got Addie some pj’s too, because she’s spoilt rotten and she’s not even here yet Grin

I’ve attached the pics, I can’t wait to wear them 😂

Currently eating a raw pepper because that’s what I’m craving 😂

Fluffy - to be honest I think my name being Acey will identify me to anyone who may see this. I have never met another Acey and I already mentioned my date of birth on here 😂Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 08/11/2018 17:43

I hadn't realised that Acey was actually your name! It's so unusual, I assumed it was a nickname! It's brilliant though. 😃

You may end up with a walking 10 month old like we did. That was 'fun'!

PhilomenaButterfly · 08/11/2018 17:45

That sounds hellish Fluffy!

NoWordForFluffy · 08/11/2018 17:47

He was determined to play with DD, and she simply wasn't interested in a crawler, so up he got!

PhilomenaButterfly · 08/11/2018 17:48

😂

FrangelicoCandyBoughs · 08/11/2018 17:52

Acey Thank you!, lots of people really dislike our DC names because they’re so unusual but I like names that are individual and the worst case scenario is they end up disliking their names and changing them.

AceyMac13 · 08/11/2018 17:52

Yep it’s my actual name Grin I love it because it’s so unusual! It’s going to be Addie’s middle name too Grin Ohgod that sounds like torture sent from the devil himself fluffy!

NoWordForFluffy · 08/11/2018 18:03

Yep. A 23 month old and walking 10 month old together. It was tiring!

DD's initials are AA too! 😍

FrangelicoCandyBoughs · 08/11/2018 18:18

Fluffy our twins started walking at 11 months, so we had a 2 year old and two 11 month olds running around the place, it was a nightmare

PhilomenaButterfly · 08/11/2018 18:22

Then you get the stage, when they're tired they just sit down. Anywhere. Preferably 20 minutes from home.

NoWordForFluffy · 08/11/2018 18:23

You win (lose?!) there, I think!

Fluffy we have a 4 story house as well and Algy new how to open stair gates so we never got any rest knowing he could be up three of stairs at any minute!

Redgreencoverplant · 08/11/2018 18:31

Will catch up in a min but just got the Aldi Christmas food catalogue and it looks immense!!!

NoWordForFluffy · 08/11/2018 18:31

Oh god! We've never had stair gates, but we also don't have a 4 storey house!

We had a 10mo walker too but I was so glad as until he walked he cried solidly at us pretty much. Walking transformed him from an utterly miserable baby to a delight of a toddler so early walking isn't all bad Grin

FrangelicoCandyBoughs · 08/11/2018 18:36

Fluffy we bought it after leaving uni with no intention of kids for another 5-6 years. Then a few months down the line I found out I was expecting Algy so we just had to make do with it. He’s now on the top floor and loves being so far away from us and having his own space, he’s only 6!

FireflyGirl · 08/11/2018 18:41

Aw, thanks for sharing the photo, Acey. On my scan photo, DS had his legs stretched out under my ribs!

I had omeprazole for the acid. It was amazing. I don't drink hot drinks, and fizzy or sugary drinks left me in agony, so I spent most of my pregnancy drinking barley water. I still drink it now!

I've started gathering everything together now to take stock; I want to be done by the end of the month as we go away for a week on 1st December.

I have bought a lot of new baubles Blush

And DH will be spending his weekend hunting down the missing presents! Angry

AceyMac13 · 08/11/2018 19:43

I love it Grin

DS2's just gone to bed, DD will go at 8.40. 😴

NoWordForFluffy · 08/11/2018 20:26

Ah, lovely, Acey!

Firefly, I still drink loads of squash as I started to drink it when I had to limit caffeine!

I take omeprazole every day now to counter the Naproxen as long term NSAID use isn't good for the stomach.

Just put the kids to bed, I’m going for a shower in a minute and then will read my book in bed with DH. I’ve got the boys bags packed mums tomorrow so can finally sit down for the night. I just want this baby out of me now, I really don’t like the later stages of pregnancy, I’m too impatient for it.

FireflyGirl · 08/11/2018 21:51

I just hated being pregnant.

I liked feeling DS move, but my first pregnancy ended in a mmc so I spent the whole time worrying we'd lose him.

I had nausea until about 7 months, SPD, carpal tunnel, I put on 4 stone as I couldn't face food apart from basic carbs - I lived on chips and crisp sandwiches. Generally, I don't even like chips!

I couldn't drive due to the carpal tunnel - I couldn't hold the wheel.

And then at the end I swelled up so much I was the same width from bust to ankles.

You'll be able to fill that last frame soon enough, Acey Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 08/11/2018 22:38

Ditto with the nausea with DD, Firefly. And the 4 stone as I had to shovel in carbs to stop being sick!

I had SPD with DS, but not DD. I didn't have as much sickness with him, but when I did have it, for about 3 weeks, I could barely move!

I don't do pregnancy well, and I'm shit at birth too!

I also swelled up a ridiculous amount with DD. Pregnancy does not equal glamour!
