Oh Acey my heart goes out to you sweetie , this is so hard for you and your family. l am so glad you have been home to see your Dad for a few weeks before all this happened . It was meant to be my dear , don't forget to talk to your Darling Dad , l am sure our loved ones can hear everything hugs galore sweetheart

I'm so, so sorry Acey. Hugs from me too, Mrs is right, talk to him, let him know you're there.

I don’t really post on here acey but I do lurk. Just wanted to say I’m thinking of you at this awful time.

Just to let you know I’m thinking of you Acey

I am thinking of you Acey. My mother died suddenly last December. It is always a shock to lose a parent. You are in my thoughts.

Hi all - going to try and sleep in a minute, but wanted to thank you all once again for your kind words and wishes, it means more than any of you could know.
I just felt wee princess kick for the first time which has spurred me on to stay strong and keep focused.
At the moment he is still fighting, however at some point he will tire because his body is working so hard. They can’t say when that will be, it could be in the next few hours, it could even be a few days. It’s a waiting game unfortunately, but at the moment he isn’t suffering or in pain.
My head is all over the place, he text me this morning to say he was feeling a bit better, then he tried to call me a couple of hours later as he wasn’t feeling good and he wanted me there, and now they are saying his death will be soon. It’s crazy how fast it has progressed, and like anyone in this situation, I just wish I had more time with him. I have to stay strong and I hope he knows I, and the rest of the family are here.
I will keep you all updated as and when I can.

50 happy birthday Fluffy

His breathing is slowing and he is beginning to tire and stop fighting, lord knows he’s fought for too long. The end is coming very quickly now

It is with a broken heart that I write this post, my dad opened his eyes, grabbed my hand then passed away at 05.43am Monday 5th November 2018

Acey may he pass over swiftly.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. It only feels 5 minutes since the last one!

I'm in work today. Not enough holiday to take the day off, and I'd only end up doing some cleaning or something anyway, so I might as well just go to work!

No present until later as the kids want to be there for the opening. We played pass the parcel yesterday for them, as they link it to birthdays. It's quite funny really!

My dc have finally settled into the clock change. Dd up at 6:30 and just had to wake ds up.

Really busy day at work today will be eating lunch in my car again. Wonder if the Christmas station is on DAB yet 

Apparently the channel Heart use for Christmas has gone over. We will swap to a Christmas channel on 1 December when we decorate the tree!

Azey l am so very sorry my dear you must be devastated , take time to gather yourself my dear look after yourself and the little one , take care .

I'm so sorry Acey The next few days may pass over in a blur. Accept any help you're offered, drink water and remember to eat. It's ok to tell people you need company or if you need to be alone. Look after yourself now

I'm back in work and so tired. Plan for today is to systematically work through my to do list and spend my lunch hour working on a Christmas scarf I've promised my dm.

I was doing okay until I got to his house and now I feel lost and I’m not sure how I’m going to get through life without him! Broken is an understatement

[Acey] I am so sorry my love - but you were there with him not still in the UK.

I can't keep up with all the chatter here at the moment. Life is bananas here, and not getting any better. But I am slowly working on various plans that are starting to fall into place. And I will make all the Cub leaders help me on our hostelling overnight this weekend to cut out mini stockings for a session in 3 weeks time - we'll have a good bit of "hanging around drinking tea" time waiting for Cubs to fall asleep! Work though is far far too busy and all I want is to sleep.

I’ve never felt my wee princess kick and move as much as I have today, it’s like she is letting me know she’s okay and that I need to be strong for her. I’ve decided her name is going to be Addison, it’s a name I love and I love Addie for short, it’s also a name my dad picked so it means a lot to me.

Thank you all for your kind words, I will get through this. At the moment it feels like a blur and I’ve got to go through his paperwork today to start sorting out his funeral and death certificate.

Addison, Addie for short, is a lovely name.
