Thanks PB - that may be worth me making a trip to Newry/Lisburn soon.....
Mrs I remember that lifeboat station and how fab they made it in the end, there was lots of varnished wood paneling wasn't there?! It's on my list of "if we ever manage to build" ideas (I also love one in Scotland on old lime kilns, another few built into the ground, and the one in the woods made totally of wood that was extended again a few years later when the woodsman got a wife and child).
Sorry to hear there are so many under the weather, I hope DC's coughs improves and they feel better soon Fluffy and the temp comes down Wreck.
Firefly your Wookies are so cute!
I can see your DD leading you around 70s, are you just the reindeer/Sherpa to carry things and proffer a card on occasion for payment purposes?! I hope you got a few minutes in JL.
DD had a great time in the show last night - she was definitely nervous and looked so uncomfortable every time she came out, but then relaxed a bit as each number went on (there were 2 ensemble numbers, and then the 1st year group). But as there were only 13 1st years took part (of 33), I was really impressed that she had volunteered, and stuck with it (a good few pulled out over the past few weeks). Finally got her to bed at 11pm! (With a demand that we go to the large shopping centre this afternoon to look for a top for tonight's disco! I think the teenage years are arriving!).
It's bright and fine here today, but with a bitter wind...I need to find hats and gloves over the weekend....
