Here we go again. I think the last thread was the quickest ever, so this one probably won't even get to Halloween, but we shall see!

Good morning all, still feeling like crap here. Between my horrible cold and morning sickness I'm in zombie mode today, to matters worse the washing machine is broken so I'll have to wash clothes by hand today. Urghhhhhh, couldn't get someone out before Thursday and we go away on Friday.

Philomena I hope your ds had a good time at his aunt's house, it must be very frustrating for you when people say they don't believe in things as if it'll make them magically disappear!

I'm leaving work in 5. I've wangled an early finish because I've powered through lots of tasks today I actually did a few at home yesterday and emailed them to my work email address so I could tick them off the to do list first thing but I need it. I think I'm at the start of the cold DH was torturing me with yesterday 😷

Busy day had here. Went to view some flats for my parents (well, the building they're in, as there aren't any empty to view), went into town to go to the bank and collect some wrapping paper from Next. I also had tea with my MiL in between the bank and Next. Then I went to Sainsbury’s. I was meant to walk home but flagged so summoned DH to collect me!

This afternoon I've spent 2 hours digging and sorting at the allotment. Just a bit more weeding to do and it's set for winter!

I made my Christmas cake today- I will be feeding it amaretto (a tip from this thread last year) and have raspberry gin steeping. I am about to start the Christmas vodka and attempt some Christmas gin.
Next I need to finish DD's Advent calendar.
However I am currently on the sofa catching up with Eastenders

I bought cranberry and shortbread stars today, again from Sainsbury's.

Met my mum for lunch in the Sainsbury's café, she had a bigger halloumi breakfast, I had hunter's chicken, chips and peas, looked round clothes and home stuff, my mum bought a Rudolph plate, she should be on this thread! Went back to ours, my mum had some beer, she went home about 5.30, I had bangers and mash for supper. 😋🍳🍗🍟🎅🎄🍺😋

Have been busy again today we are trying to get for the house very early because the Gas board have dug the entire road outside and we can't stand the digging! Have put a pic , it is going to be like this all week !

Went to Ikea this afternoon , lovely things there , have a couple of pics of there too. Well worth a visit just to see the pretty patterns and colour. Am in love with the navy chintz sofa , it was gorgeous!

We aren't doing too much tomorrow, thankfully. We are decorating on Thursday though. Tomorrow is food shopping and housework in the main. And maybe a trip to Dobbies too.

Day of domestic stuff planned today. The DCs want to go to the new Aldi, so that's what we are doing. Small people are very funny! 😂

I slept for ten hours last night! Feeling much better

Am up and out again this morning. To cap it all the Coucil are re surfacing the roads as well . Honestly we are under siege here!!!

Afternoon all!. Just tidying the house whilst Lorcan and John have lunch. Then getting their swimming stuff ready and will take them out after we pick Arthur up from school. We’ve had pasta with asparagus and peas for lunch, so have put some in a little pot for Art to have after school and then we’ll probably have McDonald’s as a treat after swimming
