Sorry I have been so inactive ladies. My lovely aunt passed away on Tuesday and then yesterday my amazing DGM passed away too. She’d been ill for so long so it was a relief for her but we will miss her dearly.

DM is on the mend but has been passing a lot of blood when she goes to the toilet. They think she just had a cut in her bowel but obviously we are all worried.

I was very disappointed when I went shopping after finding out that DS2 was a boy, all newborn clothes were either pink or white! You definitely get more choice with a girl.

MrsMad I wouldn't worry too much about your dads reaction to the work ring done. If it's necessary it's just tough - I feel a bit annoyed on your behalf that they're not falling over themselves with thanks and gratitude for you though!

I am on the countdown to 5pm when I can go home. Work has been busy but also tense today and I'm not sure why. I usually enjoy my job but the last month or so has been a struggle.

DD had a chicken and mushroom Pukka pie for lunch, I've just had 10 spelt and fig flatbreads with spicy feta spread. They're only tiny though. I now need more spread.

Mrs, I agree with others. Your dad is just being awkward. Ignore him! Maybe it reminds him that he's ageing and he's not keen on the reminder (even if there's plenty of others going on!).
