Don’t think I’ll be able to get on again before tomorrow, so just thought I’d quickly post now.
Midwife went well, although she took 5 files of blood and ruined my happy morning 😂
Just at my brothers now helping him pack up the last of his stuff.
Counting down the hours until I’m home 😁 double excited as tomorrow I get to see this wee miracle and find out what I’m having 😁

Crazy I'm too pissed off atm I think. He loaded the dishwasher last night and did everything but my lunch stuff so none of it was clean for work this morning

A long time ago, when me and DH hadn't lived together long, he suddenly decided laundry was my job and stopped doing any. He also refused to put washing in the basket because 'it's not a big deal to have to collect up the washing'

Anyway, long story short, I collected the dirty clothes every day. Washed mine and put DHs in the boot of my car. It took 2 weeks for him to run out of clean boxers, socks, everything really. I then brought it back in the house while he was out, scattered it around the place and told him to sort.
Funny how that day made him realise a) laundry is not just my job b) walking around looking for clothes is a waste of time c) he was being an arse.

I think it's usually about the middle of this month Redgreen. I can't find my email confirmation from last year though - that would give me a rough idea of the date.

I go to Morrisons on a Saturday while DS is in his karate class so I'll see if the brochure is there or ask when it will be coming.

Ah Wreck that's crap. Hopefully you can get through this. I only work one day a week so I don't mind doing practically all the domestic stuff - I'm good at it and very organised - but I hate being taken for granted or my contribution to the family being seen as less worthy.

Evening all
Am so tired been sooooo busy
Went to the parents , bathed mum & dressed her , sorted Dad out, did the Lunch & tea for them both. Ham sarnies, salad & crisps for tea & cauliflower cheese, bacon & fried potatoes for lunch. Trifle for afters they eat better than we do
Went to Ebbw vale festival park to do a little shopping, bought a nice skirt & top for Mum again lol , she has enough now! Lots of things there for Christmas to be fair l could have spent loads but had DH with me so had to hurry up
Came back home got caught in a traffic jam and was late home . Just taken Mum to dancing club and my nephew is going to pick her up thankfully. We are watching Escape to the Country on iplayer now DH is yawning his head off already lol!
Am looking forward to the Royal Wedding tomoz hope it doesn't rain too badly for them bless.

l am sorry to hear you are having a bit of upset , l am sure it will blow over am on your side mind you You are doing your best to keep everything flowing and everyone happy , hugs my dear it isn't easy all the time , juggling everything
Crazy glad you & DH are fine , sometimes it is really hard being married, working , being a daughter, sister, neighbour , friend it all gets too much. Sometimes l want to run away from all my lot and it's not because l don't love them ...it's because it is damn hard .

Ohh yes ....btw ....you know Mum is having a shower room put in week after next l have worked my socks off getting it done for her from the council and l mean that well today my Dad blew me down in flames and said he didn't want to have it done now because it will be too cold for them. Honestly l felt so deflated , you do not know the amount of work that went into getting it sorted for them , no one helped me either . l had so many meetings with the council , care & repair , the assessors , the financial information for proof l had to find and send them is unbelievable and for him to say that to me.
I had to tell him that they had signed a contract and that they could not back out of it now, which is the gospel truth, the workmen will be there for a week or so and the difference it will make to both their lives is unbelievable. I give up sometimes l really do .....

Oh Mrs I bet you felt so upset. Could it be more that your dad is feeling anxious about workmen being in and just the general upheaval and change of it all? I'm sure he will think it's great once it's done

Ahhh Wreck thank you for understanding .
l am afraid Dad is like this , he will say things to ppl to burst their bubble , he knows how to do it so well. I don't think he is worried about the upheaval or about the work tbh , the workmen are going in and out of the house using the front door, Mum & Dad won't even be bothered by them and all the work cleaning up afterwards will be done by my Dh and myself . No he is always like this, he has an uncanny knack to really upset pp just by a few words. I really should be used to it by now but l am ever the sucker

l am worried now that the job won't be done to their liking but l can't do anything about that, the Council are arranging it all so it is really up to them, good job that is out of my hands really or else l would never hear the end of it !!!

I am home safe and sound, and ecstatic to be here

The flight went well, felt like the longest hour of my life because I just wanted to be on Irish turf even the security man at the airport said my excitement was contagious!
My grandad picked me up from the airport and the rest is a blur, I fell asleep in the car around 10.40pm, then next thing I know it’s 06.30am and I’m in my house, in my room, surrounded by all my stuff
Been woken up by my phone going crazy, I’m being inundated with texts asking if it’s true I’m home for good
It feels like I’ve never left, and I can’t even begin to explain how happy I am!

Today’s the day I find out the sex of this wee one wooohooo; keep everything crossed that this baby plays ball roll on 11am!
