I've just had smashed avocado on sourdough toast and a banana. Didn't finish it all though, not that hungry.

ConstantlyCooking · 24/09/2018 11:32

Lovely autumnal morning: cold but sunny - I could see my breath for the first time since spring.

BiddyPop · 24/09/2018 11:41

Jealous of all those watching True Christmas today...I must go in and look at the schedule to see if there are a few things to record (as DH wiped everything after last Christmas before I had a chance to watch them!! Grr!")

I feel like, while I didn't get all done that I wanted to, I did make good progress on cleaning and sorting over the weekend. I still have lots to do, but a few more clutter spots were dealt with, and I managed most of the seasonal clothes change for me (DD won't give up her shorts for a few weeks yet!).

Today is an odd, quiet day at work, waiting for big things tomorrow but all the prep work is done. SO I may declutter here as well.

PhilomenaButterfly · 24/09/2018 12:38

I can't watch it today, DH is at home. Is it Freeview 74?

Seafoodeatit · 24/09/2018 13:47

I like Halloween too, it's a good run up to bonfire night and I love getting little trick of treaters - the odd couple of teenagers in masks not so much. We're away for Halloween this year so no decorations but I'll keep an eye for any events where we'll be.

13 weeks till Christmas wow! It feels very close now. Its my wedding anniversary tomorrow but I don't know what to do for dinner, we had a meal out in the week but I'd like something on the day itself too!

FurForksSake · 24/09/2018 13:57

We are going to be in a cottage in the middle of Kielder for Halloween, no trick or treating this year!

I made meatball lasagne yesterday, so autumnal it was awesome. We had apple crumble afterwards.

Skull and Cross buns has 20% off her new Christmas stamps this week, lovely nutcracker I am coveting.

I did some (small amount of!) decluttering, but also got lost in the world of a designer doing Christmas stuff and Wilton cake decorating tutorials on YouTube. Bad Biddy. This is why IT don't want us to have access to YT generally - it's so easy to lose hours in there.....Going to try and sort out 1 large pile to do with 1 project that's almost finished (so I can dump lots of papers I Hope!!) before I go home to make up for it...

PhilomenaButterfly · 24/09/2018 16:26

Picked DS2 up, making spaghetti and meatballs which we'll have with garlic bread. 😋🍝

Heavystream · 24/09/2018 17:10

Afternoon ladies, I’m sorry I haven’t been active. I’ve had a little wobble and my lovely Mum and nan have both been taken ill at the same time. We’re considering moving closer to them but we’ve got a lot of sorting out to do and obviously Arthur has just started school so if I’m not on as much then that’s why. I hope you’re all well

WreckTangled · 24/09/2018 17:16

Sorry to hear that heavy. If you need to move it's much better to do it in the first few years of primary school than later.

We've just had an early dinner and ds has a swimming lesson in a bit. He's doing lengths of the big pool now (he's 5) but when he started he used to refuse to get in! His swimming teacher lets dd go in too.

PhilomenaButterfly · 24/09/2018 18:48

DS2 will go to bed at 7, DD will go at 7.40. 😴

PhilomenaButterfly · 24/09/2018 18:50

Hope you're okay Heavy Flowers

PhilomenaButterfly · 24/09/2018 18:51

I seem to have lost my return key. Confused

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 24/09/2018 19:13

I'm having the same 'return key trouble' PB

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 24/09/2018 19:16

NoWordForFluffy · 24/09/2018 20:10

Sorry to hear that, Heavy. Flowers Hmmm. My iPhone doesn't like returning either!

CrazyBaubles · 24/09/2018 21:09

💐 for you Heavy I hope they both get well soon.

Whoever got to watch Christmas films today, I'm very jealous!

My day was busy and long. I feel dead on my feet between that and doing odd jobs / admin things when I got home. Have yet another headache so going to bed soon.

NerosFiddle · 24/09/2018 21:44

PSB I'll check for you tomorrow what freebies channel it is. I only got to watch half of one film today as DD took sick.

Heavystream · 24/09/2018 21:58

Thank you all!. I think our only option really is to move so we’re just gonna have to get it started as soon as possible.

Seafoodeatit · 24/09/2018 22:06

heavy thinking of you this evening, I hope you're okay. Things always seem more daunting at first should you need to move. We moved home when DS was in year 1 and he coped really well - this is a very shy child we're talking about too, children adapt very quickly. Flowers

Heavystream · 24/09/2018 22:20

Thank you Seafood it means a lot. I know Arthur will be fine once we move it’s just such a daunting feeling. We have enough money for a deposit in our savings and I work from home so it would be easy for me to move my work. DH will be fine finding work as well. It’s just the trouble of selling our own house and changing everything over. Especially with me being pregnant, everything just seems to have fell at a difficult time.

Seafoodeatit · 24/09/2018 22:54

Heavy No worries, I really can understand, we had to buy when we did - I was almost 6 months pregnant and DD was 9 months old so packing/moving was very stressful but once it's all done you find yourself settling into a new routine easily. It sounds like logistically you'll be okay it just needs time for it to settle and not seem like such a big change. We'll be here for you to rant to as well - there's a special stress that comes with buying and I imagine selling as we'll have to in a few years.

PhilomenaButterfly · 25/09/2018 06:21

91 Still no paragraphs. Morning! It was 62 Neros. Thanks. 😆🎄
