@mrs - aww your message brought me to tears, thank you so much! He is a waste of space and it’s his loss that he’s not going to be apart of this baby’s life! I felt so much love seeing my baby earlier, and it baffles me how he can walk away because he already has two kids and doesn’t want any more! He’s a grand idea, don’t have unprotected sex then! Ah well he’s a muppet and this baby is so so loved without him! I will of course keep in touch 😁 I hope you have a lovely day in Cardiff!

@seafood - thank you, I’m glad your scan went well! I envy you being able to resist finding out the sex, I’ll be having a private early scan to find out the sex of mine! That’s very true, the budget cuts are putting so many people under pressure! I can’t wait to get back home and my support network is most definitely there!

Sea... am so happy your scan was all fine and baby is looking great , lovely news , we had a great day in Cardiff but l was so sad to see Howell's shop with just a few people shopping in there, it has always been one of the shops we went to over the years. It is a sad sign of the times , that and Orla Kiely bankrupt .

Sorry for quick post / lack of individual replies. Have done a 13 hour work day and am exhausted! However, I have put together some training for a new starter, completed a project today (and will now start the monitoring phase to make sure it works), completed the majority of my to-do list AND chaired a meeting (because I didn't muddle up the dates, I had 2 similar meetings booked for 2 mornings in a row).
Phew, can't wait to get to bed.

The weather here is awful. It was dark and raining when I finally left the office so it felt quite wintery. Hopefully this weekend I'll actually be able to enjoy it!

I've woken up early. The joy (though not as early as PB, thank god!). I have weird dreams at the moment. Not sure if it's pain or drug related! It's like pregnancy dreams all over again!

It's going to carry on raining today, so I'll be getting wet at the allotment. Never mind, I'll dry off.

I’ve been wide awake since 3.30am, apparently I’ve hit the insomnia stage of pregnancy 😂
My appetite is back today so I’m making the most of it😁
Working today, day off Monday and next week is my last week of work before I head home to Ireland for good 😁
Going to book my private gender scan for the 9th/10th of October, then flights are booked to head home at 06.30am on the 12th as I have my final midwife appointment here on the 11th. I’m sooooo excited 😁🍀
My brothers are sorting out the packing and getting all our stuff shipped and driven back over there so all is grand!

Mrs - that second skirt is grand I love it! Don’t worry I’m looking after myself and baby and so excited to find out what I’m having 😁

It’s cold and windy here, lovely winter weather! My recycle bin had blown down the road, that was a fun start to the morning 😂

Morning all, I managed to get back asleep after this mornings’ 4am waking, thankfully.

Sitting in a coffee shop for a bit of peace before work - although DH had a meeting in town and got a later train in (he’s usually nearer home) and caught me! He’s gone on to his meeting now and I’m on my way to do a blitz of paperwork, clearing leave requests and routine jobs, and trying to clear my desk before a busy few weeks. At least the wind is calm tomorrow morning for Cubs - we can get boating! We only have 2 more boating sessions left before they get pulled in.

Hi! Had a meeting with the family coach, the SENCo and DD, had super scrambled egg and a banana for breakfast, packed DS2's bag. 😋🍌

Love the name Hairy Baby Biddy! DD can quote great chunks of Fr Ted, DS2 does a fantastic Fr Jack impression without ever having seen it! I've taught him to say "DRINK!" 😂

Had a bit of an awkward morning. Was pulled into a meeting by big boss 1, I assumed to discuss project that was finished yesterday. Instead he started giving me a bit of dressing down about something that hadn't been complete. I was a little annoyed until I realised he had gotten me muddled up with someone else who is working on a separate project and who has the same first name!
Took a minute to find a space to interrupt and say "I've been dealing with project X rather than project Y so I don't think this relates to me." Had a very embarrassed but full apology though!

I'm starting to think strategically about crafts / presents I'm making because I really think I'm going to run out of time if I'm not careful.... I feel a new list may be in order (I love my lists - I want to find a lovely, good quality but durable file / note book to turn into a bullet journal type thing and add it to my Christmas list)

Biddy, you fit so much into your life; I've no idea how you do it all. Oops to getting tumbled by DH though! 😂

Our shed had tried to escape the allotment in the winds we've had (which are still going until later on today now, though the frequency is dropping). 🙈🙈 We righted it and filled it with slabs and heavy stuff.

I finished planting my 500 (five hundred) spring bulbs first, then dug over a patch of earth before planting 100 onion sets. I was going to sow some peas too, but ran out of time / oomph as I'd done 4 hours' graft by then! It must have been hilarious to watch me wrestle with the weed membrane inthe wind when I was covering a bit I'd dug but didn't need. I'm amazed I didn't take off!

I'm now MNing in the bath trying to ease the aching back!

DS2's at Adventure waiting for his friend's mum to pick him up, I'm making pulled pork burritos for supper. 😋

Afternoon all it’s Friday finally!. We’re visiting family this weekend so we’re just putting everything into the car and then we have a 3 hour journey (about 4 1/2 hours with stops and traffic) up to see everyone. I’m hoping to get some sleep in the car but the boys get travel sick so I think I’ll be spending a lot of time holding a sick bag!. Hope you all have a great weekend!

fluffy I was hoping you'd name an amazing magic gardening book that will spell it out for me lol. I wish my mum was good with plants to help but she's not interested - my grandma on the other was very much a botanist, she used to grow all sorts of plants, she named my mum after one of her favourite flowers. My dad is the child of farmers so he knows plenty but has no patience to teach, typical!
