Beauty advent calendars 2018

Just noticed vogue published their favourite beauty advent calendars for 2018 - with prices and release dates here (don’t look if you want surprises as you can see what are inside some of the calendars.

Is anyone planning on getting one or more this year? Which looks the best?
I know my dd would love the look fantastic one, I can only dream of the diptyque one, or Liberty if they release one again this year [santa]

@BewareofDragons I was thinking that but thought then it’s more likely I would have had a gift receipt where they could only exchange and not yet a refund. I bought online and don’t have a gift receipt (not sure if you can get them with online purchases)

The jumpers are for gifts. One for husband (I ordered two but not keen on one) and one for my dad

You can return items without returning the calendar - this is a very common thing people have always done in order to buy the calendar, and M&S never make you return the calendars too.

Does anyone know if the M&S calendars are usually restocked online or is it a one-off? (They are sold out) - sorry if I’ve missed any earlier messages on this.

It's usually a one off. You'd be better off going to find one in store.

My store had absolutely stacks of them but tbh you'd be better ordering one because they are quite big.

The Liberty one is still showing as in stock for me, but maybe it's gone once you get to checkout?

I'm loving my M&S advent calendar so much I did some more shopping in M&S today so I could get my mum one. The contents are lovely and the packaging is so pretty. Looking forward to my Lookfantastic one arriving too.

@Howaboutthisone i returned the jumper and she didn’t question the advent calendar but I had bought two jumpers over £35 as part of that transaction (think I was confused before, thinking it was just one jumper and the calendar) so not sure whether she would have mentioned the calendar if I hadn’t

The woman in the shop didn’t even seem to take it into account

And if they do raise the calendar issue presumably you could exchange the PJs or take a credit note (rather than get a refund) and still keep the calendar

So I’ve now been refunded for one of my M&S advent calendars.... Basically I bought two calendars but as part of two transactions (I couldn’t get the discount on two at the same time) so I bought one jumper and a calendar and then two jumpers and a calendar. All three jumpers were over £35.

When I went to collect them all last week I was told three jumpers and one calendar were ready to collect and second calendar would be ready tomorrow. I asked to take one from store (there were loads) so I didn’t have to go back as that seemed silly and also I’d had an email saying my order was ready to collect. He went in the back and got one for me.

He seemingly didn’t update the system so I got an email saying my advent calendar was ready to collect...

I didn’t go and get it obviously as I’d already got the two I’d paid for but I just got an email saying I’ve been refunded for one advent calendar because I didn’t collect it... 🤔

I’ve never had to contact a shop to say they shouldn’t be refunding me!
