Thanks Mrs! I voted for "Waxwing Lyrical".

NoWordForFluffy · 26/08/2018 20:13

Big Dipper here. Our two love those cows!

AnotherShirtRuined · 26/08/2018 20:17

Mrsmadevans · 26/08/2018 20:24

Very difficult to decide such beautiful animals and scenery.

We really did have a lovely day, we did the thrones walk at Wimpole and it was lovely. The kids managed a really good length walk and we had a nice lunch after. It made me buy us all new walking shoes from decathlon ready for future autumnal / winter yomps!

Mrsmadevans · 26/08/2018 20:50

it looks lovely there Fur , glad you all had a great day Smile

WreckTangled · 26/08/2018 21:07

Ah thanks guys. I like to think they're kind as that's my number one rule Smile

Feeling very wintry today ❄️

Mrsmadevans · 26/08/2018 22:30

Wreck that is exactly how they look , you must be so proud of them Smile

I may have changed my mind about the spiders. Just been woken up by one of those really spindly legged ones dancing across my hand! I don't mind spiders but draw the line at being trampled on in the middle of the night! He was unceremoniously dumped out of the bathroom window, and I will be mounting a full scale eviction tomorrow!

NoWordForFluffy · 27/08/2018 06:48

Oh shit! I don't like to think about that happening, Firefly.

I tend to bury myself under the duvet, thankfully, so no concerns about my hands. Just my head! 😱

Redgreencoverplant · 27/08/2018 06:53

Might I recommend some highly efficient spider killing machines? My two spend the night by my head so no worries about being crawled on my creepy crawlies :)

Redgreencoverplant · 27/08/2018 07:13

In bed cutting recipes out of the GH magazine to go in my Christmas planner :) Hopefully heading to Dewstow Gardens later with a picnic. What is everyone else doing for the bank holiday?

NoWordForFluffy · 27/08/2018 07:39

We're driving home from our weekend away and I'm going to the allotment when I get home. Not been for over a week! It'll be weedy as hell!

FireflyGirl · 27/08/2018 08:44

RedGreen I have two puddy tats of my own. They prefer to hunt small rodents, and DH has banned them from the bedroom I may let them in when he's not looking.

I don't think I have a picture of them together, though. Rcat was an only child and we inherited Tcat - who was also an only child - when our friends emigrated. They're not overly fond of each other and TCat isn't overly fond of us either Grin They mostly ignore each other.

We never made it to the BBQ yesterday - poor DS managed to step on a wasp and spent the day feeling sorry for himself. So, plan today is to drop off my goddaughter's birthday card and then a trip to the beach. I'm hunting out the waterproofs!

Mrsmadevans · 27/08/2018 08:45

Morning all Smile
Up the parents to sort them ahhttt 70 Grin
Have a great Bank hols everyone , l am busy making an apple crumble for my parents (windfalls} , l only now have made one without stewing the apples first. DDS stopped me and said 'what are you doing Mother, we never did that in school ,we just put them in the dish with the crumble mix on top' Blush .You learn something everyday Grin

Mrsmadevans · 27/08/2018 08:48

Red, beautiful puss cats . l don't mind Spiders tbh . Hate earwigs though.

WreckTangled · 27/08/2018 08:49

We're going to the cinema today to see hotel Transylvania 3. Will buy snacks at Sainsbury's and I'll see if they have that Christmas magazine...

WreckTangled · 27/08/2018 08:50

Ewwww earwigs. We got them loads when I was growing up.

Mrsmadevans · 27/08/2018 08:59

Red do you live in Monmouthshire m'dear? Only Dewstow Gardens are not that far from me in Abergavenny. to my shame l have never been Hmm
Just heard that our Best man had died. We never bothered after we all got married like you do ( he married twice ), kids , jobs , house, life but saw him now and again in the town, he became an alcoholic and was very poorly , not homeless or anything but very ill, tried to come off it a lot of times, such a shame, DH is shocked to his core bless him.
Right better shift after that bombshell, poor DH why do they always say they are alright and want to brush it under the carpet, MEN!!! Hmm

Mrsmadevans · 27/08/2018 09:03

Wreck have a good trip and FIND THAT MAGAZINE (sang to the theme tune of Catch that pigeon ) Smile

FurForksSake · 27/08/2018 09:05

Beautiful cats! I have a gorgeous fur son, but he is a toothless gimmer so can't catch any more.

We are going to an open air museum for an explore.

FurForksSake · 27/08/2018 09:07

Yes, I must too find that magazine!

Ninjaplus1 · 27/08/2018 09:58

I’m also looking for the magazine, tried Sainsbury’s and WHSmith.

NoWordForFluffy · 27/08/2018 10:02

Apparently you can buy it online direct from Hearst if you can't find it in a shop.
