Dad was fine he has to go for chest x ray next week , it seems to be a muscle strain.
Have just had a cupcake from WR and a naice cuppa courtesy of DH am watching Basil Rathbone in The Scarlett Claw , l love him as Sherlock , there is no accounting for taste lol
DD2 had red pepper and goats cheese quiche for lunch , l tried a bit of it but it def does not agree with me , l really hate it , so strong!

We're going to do legoland Father Christmas this year I think as well as lapland we always go somewhere with friends though and I think this will be a good one. We've done:

Chessington garden centre
Longleat
Lapland UK (twice)
Harrods (which we can't do ever again because it's only for loyal customers now )

AnotherShirt I probably will but it just feels like giving in after pestering for so long.

I don't normally like musicals (with the exception of avenue Q) but I think I'd make a special exception for elf...

We did chessington last year for christmas mainly for the gruffalo ride, hoping to do peppa pig world this year if we find the time.

I've heard of dobbies! their christmas displays always look very pretty from what I've seen.

Picked DS2 up from Adventure, had butter chicken for supper, DS2 was in bed by 7.30, DD was in bed by 9.20.

We'll go to the Portobello winter festival again. Every Santa's Grotto we like seems to disappear! We've done Hamleys, Whiteleys, Duke of York Square, now it's the Portobello winter festival. Hamleys wasn't even a grotto. DS2 and I went with preschool to Westfield as well.

I am starting to plan some Christmas purchases for my lists ( having looked at the Matalan site)
I need to find the GH magazine

And I need to get to bed now , I travelled back from holiday , got to bed at 2.30am , awake at 6.30am and busy doing washing and shopping (and Eastenders on catch-up)

My body is raddled with tired.
My brain is still running .

Happy Rudolph Day! DH has decided on a last minute hike with his friend and left at 8 so I'm in bed with a cuppa and the GH magazine.

Found mine in M&S (after trying Sainsbury's, WH Smith, Tesco and 2 independent newsagents) so I would definitely suggest trying there.

Plan for today is some light housework and Christmas planning before going out tonight and drinking lots of wine

No GH Mag but I didn't look in M&S (didn't occur to me) tried WHSmith and Waitrose.

DD was ver' ver' unhelpful, "It's August " , I really must rehome her if she doesn't get the importance of the GH mag.

DS2 and I had breakfast in the Sainsbury's café, DD felt sick so stayed at home 😭, DS2 had a bitesize breakfast, I had eggs and bacon, the DC had Pukka pies for lunch. 😋🍳🍳🍗🍄

Hi all, went up to visit my family the past few days. There’s a definite chill in the air now, especially at night. I had a bath when it was raining really heavily and it was very lovely and autumnal. I had a really lovely birthday as well. Hope everyone’s doing well. Started buying our Christmas presents yesterday!

Gabey definitely looks Autumn ready! Still can't believe he will be 3 soon.
