Fluffy DH went to the Physio told them it was much better and he didn't want to do anything to upset the healing and cancelled his appt . TBF they have told him, if he gets symptoms in the next 6 months, he can self refer, so at least that is a good thing. He swears it is better ! Still taking the Co codamol but is dropping them off slowly.
Hope you are ok and having a lovely trip away , you should be clear of work now and on your way , enjoy yourselves

Anothershirt That looks fantastic, I wish I could crochet, I can only knit despite trying to learn crochet many times. You're never too old for a llama, I've been hinting to DH for the past 8 years to get me a giant teddy, I might just have to buy it myself at this rate...

Mrsmad Sorry you won't be coming. I managed to wangle discounted tickets via work for the Saturday so me and DH can enjoy a wander through Cardiff Christmas market and the bustle first.

It is so cold outside tonight! I stopped to visit a friend of mine on the way home from work and it was getting dark and cold as I left. Had a distinctive autumnal feel that was lovely 🎄

Seafood Buy you own giant teddy for Christmas this year! Sadly I probably won't get that llama. DD, who loves teddies of all and any variety, has about a million already and doesn't need more, so that's my excuse gone as I have the distinct feeling that DH would be very unimpressed with having to share the bed with a cuddly toy it's filled to bursting as it is with children most nights

It's still raining here. No surprise why it's the Lake District! 😂 We're off to some caves today which are meant to be amazing. At least we can't get rained on in there though!

We live on a new build development which has metal connecting the roof to the external walls and it is still shiny as new. This morning the sun was glinting off it so it looked like it was lit up and DS said 'look it's Christmas'

DH is away with friends for two nights so I may indulge in a Christmas film without any strange looks :)

Cor, I go away for a few days and it's nearly Rudolph Day again.

But .........the hotel we stayed at played Christmas Music in the bar lounge . We we sitting there with that plinky-plonky piano music whittering away in the background thinking "Eh, that's Frosty the Snowman. In August )

So I have four cases of manky washing.
A patchy suntan (I wore one piece cossies. I'm well past bikinis)
And ate enough salad to fell an elephant.

Going to see to the parents this morn, Dad has a chest infection so taking him to the Drs . Am sure he will be fine it is just a precaution because he is immunosuppressed from his CMML. He has to have antibiotics at the first sign of any infection, bless him .

Redgreen I'm so jealous. DH is away on Saturday night (overnight) but I'm going out and anticipate a hangover on Sunday so may not be able to enjoy it. I have hidden my Christmas magazine in the drawer under the bed though so I can look at the pictures while my head is fuzzy on Sunday morning

Mrsmad I didn't realise Beauty and the Beast was coming near us! I would consider tickets to that too but I think my friend has also booked us tickets to Matilda so 3 shows may be a step too far!

I am so tired today 😴 I woke up for no reason at 6am and couldn't get back to sleep - and I'm not in work today. I'm now trapped under 2 snoring dogs on the sofa so I'm wasting the morning on MN apparently!

I'm tired too. I woke up at 3 and didn't get back to sleep until 4:30 😴 in the toy shop today and tomorrow. Two more days next week and then that's it!

Today I went to Dobbies garden centre and they were putting out their Christmas display! It's starting!!! It's taken all my self restraint not to get out the Christmas jumpers.

My sister brought her kids over yesterday and the kids were making Alexa play christmas songs, it was brilliant :)
