Hi Mrs, no not been to GP yet. I think they get the x-ray results tomorrow. I'm going to see if I can have a telephone consultation rather than having to go in, as we're away from tomorrow until Monday. It's easing in some ways and getting worse in others. I hope physio works for your DH; it made me worse last time! 🙈

Chicken lasagne is lovely Mrs! 😋 Yes, we had a great day, even just with DS2 and DD having a water pistol James Bond shootout in the garden, then it was even better when DS2's friend joined in! Within about 5 minutes, the friend was saying, "I'm soaked!" I said, "Good, that's the idea!" 😂

Having had 2 of each, I'd say both are lovely, in completely different ways.

My DS is more cuddly than DD, who's very independent. Though if you offer to cuddle her, she's right there!

They're both lovely, both funny. So I'd recommend either sex!

lost unfortunately we're not in a position where I could realistically give up work for a year so I'm trying to figure out if we can save and if it can be done around PT work. DH said "it would be one hell of a year and you'll be exhausted" but I have the bit between my teeth at the mo though...

I am not feeling even slightly festive today. I have some bites on my legs that are itching and making me feel twitchy.
I also tried WH Smith, an independent newsagents, Sainsbury's and Tesco and cannot find the GH Get Ahead Christmas magazine anywhere. I admitted to a friend (a fellow Christmas lover) what I was looking for on my lunch break so she's looking too. Fingers crossed 🤞

Morning! I'm going into work early so I can leave early as we need to get up to the Lakes by early evening. My manager isn't in today, so I'm just going to do it. I've worked the extra time, so it's fine, I'm sure!

Looks a touch gloomy this morning. Hopefully it isn't going to rain.

I've started to make arrangements for my parents to move up north to be near us, finally. Just got to find them the right place to move to!

@Mrsmad - it certainly is a lovely time I’m so excited :) I will try ringing the community midwives again today, I just want to get my booking in appointment done and get an appointment for my 12 week scan :) yep being Irish I have a huuuuuuge family so have to start early else i’d Go bankrupt 😂
@NoWordForFluffy - it feels like the longest wait ever, I found out at three weeks so it’s been a looongggg wait, even though I had a private early reassurance scan at 7 weeks :) aww I can’t wait to hear baby’s heartbeat for the first time it’s so exciting! I’ll be having a private gender scan at 16 weeks too, I’m too impatient to wait 😂
@December - thank you very much and congratulations to you as well! Aww look at that scan picture it’s so clear. A beautiful baby boy congratulations, that’s so exciting! Oliver is a lovely name too :) my pregnancy hasn’t been too bad actually, aside from my baby daddy, he has 2 kids already and then I fell pregnant and he’s decided he doesn’t want any more and he’s having nothing to do with the baby, its his loss though and I have the most amazing family supporting me :) I’ve had constant nausea from before I even got a positive test, it eased off a little at the start of this week but then I spent most of yesterday throwing up 😂 I’m a coffee addict so the worst part for me has been completely going off that 😂 leg cramps at night are pretty annoying, and the nausea is grinding me down a little, food cravings and aversions are in full swing, can’t get enough of savoury food and dairy! all in all I think I’ve had it pretty easy compared to a lot of people! I hope your pregnancy has been going well too :) I’ll upload a picture of my little bean at 7 weeks; this was a 3D picture, baby looks like a starfish 😂 can’t wait for my 12 week scan to see the difference in size and shape :)

crazy you sound like your in my exact position!! We are trying to figure out the financial situation. I only work part-time just now, but the course is pretty intense so there is no way I could do both. I feel like I have the "bit" too, ordered a couple of books and going to look into volunteering. Although it will all be pointless if I don't pass this Maths qualification I'm starting🙈🙈🙈 and that has never been my strong point!!

It's gloomy here too. Google weather tells me it isn't going to rain, so I'm going to put the washing out.

Lost it's been around for 19 years now and they do the best cuddly toys! They're softer than you could ever imagine and suitable from birth so make great gifts. I've bought my friends newborn the inky octopus

lost I'm a bit scared that we seem to be the same person. I was looking online and can see you need a B maths GCSE or equivalent and I left school with a C because I hated the subject! I've been considering resitting a GCSE but it's almost £400 to do that here! 💰

Had creamy peppercorn chicken with sautéed potatoes for lunch, went to Sainsbury's to spend DS2's £50 birthday money, he bought 3 Hot Wheels tracks and a Roblox figure, dropped him off at Adventure. 😋🍗

I crocheted a few more snowflakes today. I even found some new patterns to try out. I'm starting to wonder if I can make a snowflake wreath or if it might be too monochromatic. Perhaps on a blue base or something.

I can't remember who posted the small wreath link but I made a couple of those as well today so thanks again for that link
