Afternoon all, we’ve gone to the cafe today and had some cake and then had a drive down the the park. Stan kept bringing his friend over to see ‘his baby’.

It’s very windy here and looks as if a storm is coming. We’re playing in the garden at the minute and it’s getting quite nippy.

We made a gingerbread house last year but it didn’t go very well, we can never get it to stay put!. None of us like Christmas cake or pudding, but I love the smell so I might make one and then give it to my family instead.

Lots and lots of royal icing on the board and to glue it together is the key. And broken toothpicks for the roof! I do assembly and initial decor without the kids and then decorating when it is really solid and dry.

Sea, the gingerbread kit is excellent from IKEA l bought one for my DN and her DC to make and they loved it . l make mince pies and SB also my DH makes the stuffing !

Firefly is he 'chuffing up' the potatoes before putting them in hot goose fat? I know he's a bit controversial on here but I like him, and watch at least one of his Christmas series every year - it's a bit of a traditional guilty pleasure for me to watch as DH is in the kitchen doing the actual cooking

So it is my last day on holiday tomorrow. I take back my moaning, I'm not ready to go home!

Had to use these up to make way for this years crop Firefly, l had a load in the freezer from last year. DH favourite pud , he loves it quite tart too spare the sugar !

We do apple and blackberry crumble, not just blackberry. I picked 1.8kg of blackberries at the allotment the other weekend! So many!

I don't mind JO. Not sure about his dress sense though! 😂

Suddenly at nearly three they have morphed into non-babies! Wahhhh.

Awwww. Cute boys! My baby boy just turned 4 and is suddenly way more grown up. Funny how they suddenly turn a corner from baby-ish to proper little boy!

Well, if we're doing pictures:

DS has only been reliably in his own bed almost every night for the last month or so. I miss him in our bed!

Had gammon hock in cider sauce with mustard mash for lunch, dropped DS2 off at Adventure, picked him up at 5, had Singapore noodles for supper, DS2 was in bed by 8.30, DD will go to bed at 10.10. 😋🍗🍤🍜😴

Gabriel is still in a cot, but also doesn't like to be touched by me much so he'd choose to sleep anywhere but with me! He's a cute but funny stick.

I work 28 hours a week but from home so me and him spend a lot of time together!! He is doing three morning of pre-school and go up to 20ish hours in Jan when free hours kick in.

He was 3 in March, and is like a little old man stuck in a tiny person's body. He's just so much fun! Definitely not a baby anymore, but I'm not a fan of the baby stage anyway!
