I'm 14 weeks pregnant but don't get to do a nursery this time as baby no4 was unplanned and will need to share with somebody until we move, gulp!

Mrsmadevans I'm sorry to hear about your husbands problems, my mum has had injections in her shoulders but hers was arthritis related, I hope his recovery goes smoothly.

AFM - I want to desperately go out and buy the christmas magazines but stuck in the house with 3 kids, I'm potty training DC2 and she's still in the only-happy-to-pee-naked stage, sits on the potty fully clothed refusing to budge on taking anything off. oh joy!!!! talking about christmas is what's keeping me sane.

Afternoon all, Benji is definitely on the mend but we’re having a Christmas film day after we’ve gone shopping. Any recommendations? We’re watching the Polar Express which is my favourite.

We’re ordering a lot of decorations tonight, we’ve already got our three trees ordered, everything is finally coming together

Glad your Benji is better Wicker , it is horrible when they are poorly .... we used to have 3 trees when the DDs were little, they had little ones in their bedrooms.
Thank you Sea , DH pain is from injuring it we think he is a very keen gardener just like Fluffy and it is nigh on impossible to stop him from doing it ! My DDS like to strip off nakky as soon as they came in the door , thank God they didn't do it when we were out heehee.

Has anyone got any decorations for outdoors? Our last house was on a steep slope with a giant bush in the front so it wasn't possible to put anything.

We have no room on the front as our house is on the road. But we’re gonna put some lights on the house and then do the back garden up reslly nice

I don't do outside; no time! We have lights up at the front room window and a fake wreath which lights up on the front door, and that's as far as we go. I did consider another tree outside last year, but decided against the cost!

Arthur Christmas is my ds favourite. My favourite is Muppets Christmas Carol but we won't watch till Christmas Eve

Lights are what we'll probably do, we've got a small bit usable out the front as 90% of it is the drive for the car - there is the window and gap underneath it! I want some solar lights but it's all paved over, I'm not sure what I'd get them to go into, maybe our plant pots?

We light up a Conifer we have in the front garden with a string of white lights and we put 2 lanterns with massive church candles in the porch . From 1st Dec we light them till the 12 days of Christmas are up well l say we but DH always does this without fail and despite him being a bit Bah Humbug he is brilliant doing this bless him.

Solar lights are often put in pots, Sea, so that's a good idea.

Wicker DD very helpfully suggested Peppa Pig Christmas specials.

Marvellous stuff Fluffy , DH has an appt for Physio a week Thursday and an appt for cortisone injection Sept 10th! All the Gps who can do the injections are on hols DH was glad mwahahahaha the big chicken!

I found a copy of the GH magazine in Smith's today and watched The Holiday on Sunday so I'm starting, slowly I am going to make a start on organised Christmas cleaning/clearing lists soon...

I'm seeing the physio tomorrow about my shoulder, see if they can do anything to help! Hope everyone else's is doing better.

The doctor who did my injection had a nurse with him who distracted me by talking to me. And I was specifically instructed not to look at the needle! I gather it's massive! 😱

Had lunch in the Sainsbury's café as the birthday meal I actually wanted, DS2 had sausage, mash, peas and gravy, billionaire's shortbread and a chocolate eclair, DD had cottage pie, peas and gravy, billionaire's shortbread and a chocolate chip cookie, I had a spicy beanburger, chips and salad, dropped DS2 off at Adventure, ordered DS1's Lego eGift card for his birthday, picked DS2 up at 5, had royal chicken biryani for supper, DS2 was in bed by 8. 😋🍫🍫🍪🍔🍟🍛

DD will go to bed at 11. 😴
