I'm joining the 'poorly shoulder gang'

Redgreen has given me a longing for a bedroom tree now... We're looking to extend, but probably not for a couple of years yet (DH wants to wait for Brexit to settle ) so I'm passing the time planning out how much more room I'll have for a huge tree - one of those that are as wide as they are high I'm a fake tree harlot.

Whoever was asking about themes - as described by my DSis I go for 'Christmas vomitted everywhere' (she's a bit of a Grinch- I'm the eldest, think I took all the Christmas cheer )

What did you do to yours, Firefly? We're the niche part of the main gang: lawyers with crocked shoulders! I hope it recovers soon.

I don't know. Thought I'd just slept funny but it's been over a week and is now sending shooting pains into my boob physio next week, I think.

DH and I completely failed at adulting last night - I went down with DS this morning to find the front door unlocked, the living room window open and the patio door wide open. It's a good thing we live in a sleepy little village!

Ouch. I'm sick of not being able to lie down comfortably. I think I need physio too really.

Mrs, did your DH get to the GP?

Fluffy DH refused to go to the GP but I have been able to persuade him to go to a local osteopath who has a very good name , so l am really hoping she can manipulate his spine and free the compressed nerve.

Firefly hope you are better soon too but it seems this muscular.bone.spine.neck . back injuries are a right pain! No pun intended .

If it's rotator cuff impingement he'd be better with a physio for targeted exercise than a chiropractor, as it's not about a trapped nerve, and certainly not linked to the spine. And lifting a watering can is prime rotator cuff injury territory.

Well I spent a lovely hour yesterday sat with a cup of going through Delias Happy Christmas, making lists of all the recipes I want to give a go. Hoping to do the same with Nigella today!

Fluffy , yes l talked to him last night after you posted and we have not got a cue what the hell it is. He booked in for physio last time he had it and just as he was going to attend it miraculously improved !! As it does .....so he cancelled the appt . So we are now going to the GP tomorrow YAY! Sense prevails at last .
PSB you were up early my dear , l can't believe it is only 20 weeks till Christmas it is creeping up on us !!!

That's about average wake up time for me without an alarm Mrs! Up at 6.05 tomorrow, I have to get DS2 to Adventure for 9.30 for the farm trip, DD's got a trip there with camp on the same day, the manager of Adventure's trying to persuade the camp staff to come at the same time, so that DS2 and DD see each other! 😆

Had waffles, jam and Crunchie chocolate spread.

Not doing much Christmas planning here though I did watch 2 episodes of Classic Corrie (because it was the Christmas ones) - Mike gets back with Alma, Dierdre falls out with Ken over his affair , the McDonald twins kick a football through Alfs shop window.

Vera and Curly were prepping the veg, Vera had a lit ciggie while she was peeling.
And Ivy,Don,Alf, and Audrey piled round to Gail'n'Martins.

There were no punch ups. No stabbings. No Get out of my Pub no murders.

Though their decorations were a bit shit very tinsel heavy and I feared for them going up in a puff of flames.

I managed to hurt my shoulder more this morning, reaching behind me in bed. Daft way to hurt it more! It's silly, as I can do loads of stuff, it's only moving it in certain ways which cause pain. My bet is a torn rotator cuff, but I'll need a scan to ascertain if that is it.

Ah, 70, that is classic Corrie. You don't get soaps like that these days!

I have had the worlds worst hangover today so been watching Gavin and Stacey all day, I love the Christmas episode!!

Brilliant hangover cure lost :) just finished another one.

Went to a ritual, had lunch on the bus, DS2 had scampi and chips in his food flask, I had a ham and cheese sandwich, after the ritual went to the pub, DS2 had a burger, chips and ice cream, he's in bed now. 😋🍤🍟🍔🍟🍧😴

Morning! I'm so tired. My bloody shoulder keeps me awake so much. Or, if I'm asleep, I have weird bloody dreams, which I think is a pain reaction. Joy!

What's a ritual, PSB? I'm a boring Baptist so have no knowledge of ceremonial-type things done by other denominations!

Off to work soon. I'm going to a different station to go past shops with magazines to see if I can get the GH getting ahead for Christmas one for the train!

Couldn't get it. Too early for 2 shops and the third didn't have it. Boooo!

Hope your shoulder is better Fluffy , it is awful lying in bed in pain , l find it strange that l can cope better with my SCIATICA much better in the day but as soon as l lie down it is horrible. Tossing & turning!

PSB l am wondering what a ritual is too m'dear.
Taking Dad at 1.30 for his blood test and visit to the Haemotologist for his CMML , he was really poorly last time we went , we thought it was curtains for him, so she will be amazed he is doing so much better thank God. Fingers crossed we have good news re his blood test results .
