I believe it's day 190

HOW did we get past the 200 mark so fast? And only 12 Days until Christmas in July starts, for anyone who celebrates that.

All went well today. After an initial wobble he really enjoyed himself and is looking forward to September 🎉🎉

We have a low of 15 degrees forecast for tonight Angry

NoWordForFluffy · 05/07/2018 22:04

Our neighbours' raspberries are like that. We are planting canes on the opposite side of the same fence next year. Our two simply haven't grown and have also been annihilated by caterpillars. So, new position next time!

Good, I'm glad your DS had fun. Big relief!

NoWordForFluffy · 05/07/2018 22:04

16 low here tonight. Might melt!

Morning! Still sunny here. No rain forecast until 19th, and that's only a 25% chance! 😱

Lots of errands to run today, with DS in tow. He likes being helpful, though, which is good!

Internaljukebox · 06/07/2018 11:18

Sorry all I been awol but hopefully am back now.. I think I posted after DH seizure. He has had check ups and has appointments with alcohol councillors (can’t spell it) as he has been drinking too much for a while now. His cousin died also during this time so he is now the oldest male in his family so given him a lot to think about. Hopefully we will make slow but steady progress!
Hope everyone is well I will try and get caught up again.
On a Christmassy note my lovely Mum has booked us an apartment in York for 2 night in November for some Christmas shopping.I love York at Christmas 🎄 it’s so pretty and nice to have something festive to look forward to x

NoWordForFluffy · 06/07/2018 17:11

Sorry your DH is going through the mill, Internal. It must be hard for both of you.

Yay for York though, how lovely!

blacksmiths09 · 06/07/2018 17:43

We went to York a few years ago when the Christmas markets was on? When I got home we realised we hadn’t gone to the famous Christmas shop that is open all year and I’ve never seen! Gutted!

I think on a Monday The Slug and Lettuce pub/eaterie do a good food offer - something like burger and chips and a pint for £7? But I think they have different offers everyday as well?

NoWordForFluffy · 06/07/2018 20:22

Hang on...hold up! Christmas shop in York?! Guess where we're having our summer holiday this year? I need to know more!

blacksmiths09 · 06/07/2018 21:02

Yes it’s this one.......👍🏻🎄

Morning! DS has woken us up early...the flip side of a 6.30 bedtime!

Where was everyone yesterday?!

We have haircuts today and then we might go into Liverpool to get the kids' feet measured. Maybe! No concrete plans, however.

Redgreencoverplant · 07/07/2018 06:53

It's the start of potty training today!!!

Internaljukebox · 07/07/2018 07:18

Thanks Fluffy.. Just taking it a day at a time with DH for now.
That shop In York does some beautiful decorations, I have two tin snowman and a lovely felt Father Christmas that I got last time I was there. I’m aiming to have only decorations that mean something on my tree, so they all have a memory or a story behind them.
In other news I’m so gutted to be working today 😱😱going to miss the Footy (DH and ds have promised to keep me informed) , DH and I went to see Noel Gallagher last night and every time there was a break between songs the crowd were singing “footballs coming home” 🙂

NoWordForFluffy · 07/07/2018 14:20

Red, do yourself a favour and train with the loo. We've had murder getting DS to swap from potty to loo!

Redgreencoverplant · 07/07/2018 14:25

We are doing both fluffy depending on what is closest at the time! DS seems happy with either at the moment so fingers crossed :)

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 07/07/2018 15:50

Sorry, I was engrossed by the Classics thread.

DS2 is now completely non-infectious, so back to school on Monday. 😆

Had a cheese and tomato omelette for breakfast, DS2 had chicken satay skewers and ham for lunch, making pulled pork burritos for an early supper as he's exhausted but couldn't manage a nap. 😋🍅🍗

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 07/07/2018 15:51

Good luck Red! 😆

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 07/07/2018 15:54

I should say, DD's at my aunt's for the weekend. 😆

Mrsmadevans · 07/07/2018 17:57

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 07/07/2018 20:24

They have sports day on Tuesday, so he's looking forward to that, and Friday's an inset day, he's going to Legoland for his friend's birthday Mrs! 😆

TheWoollybacksWife · 07/07/2018 20:42

DS has sports day next week - postponed from possibly the last rainy day we had. I'm now expecting it to be cancelled because the weather is too hot Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 07/07/2018 20:48

DD’s school doesn’t do it in reception; it starts in year 1. Thank god!

NoWordForFluffy · 07/07/2018 20:49

How was your house party the other week, Woolly? I forgot to ask!

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 07/07/2018 20:52

I'm roping DM in, so there's one of us to cheer on each DC! 😂 I'm so glad DS2's better, I would have missed DD too, and there would have been no one to pick her up. They usually finish around 12.30, and DH doesn't get home until 1.

TheWoollybacksWife · 07/07/2018 20:53

It was fab. Lots of 🍾🍾🍾 and 🍔🍔🍔 and chatting until the sun went down with my lovely SILs. Then round 2 on Sunday plus football. Only slightly spoiled by DS waking up with a throat virus on Sunday.
