Great going, Wreck!

Whoop for Friday. Albeit wet and windy Friday! I'm off on Monday so need to try to get ahead of myself if possible.

Not just a Friday Fluffy. The Friday we break up for half term!

I wish I still had 1/2 term 😢

DM and DF break up next week, always makes me a touch jealous, then I remember how much they work IN term and I am ok with it 😂

I don't break up though, so it's moot! 😂😂

I've got one of the Easter weeks off as you get 10 days for the price of 4, but I don't have enough holiday to take time off every break. If only!

Term time only is perfect with young children but it is quite restrictive. And you only get paid for 48 weeks of the year

I can't afford that (DH is a SAHD). And my job doesn't lend itself to it either (who'd run my caseload in the holidays?!).

Maybe one day if I go into teaching post-grad law students, which is my long-term plan.

Icy start here today! But midterm starts here too - DD excited, my bank balance drained (she's sailing all next week as DH and I are both working - and both traveling separately!).

Fluffy you must have such an interesting job, it sounds really hard and busy but fascinating. You enjoy the 3 days off.... chillax !
It is snowing here but not going to stick not sure what we are going to do today might just walk up town to the indoor market but must get a walk in!

Aw Sally, hope vet is ok. Chucky went yesterday and is booked to have the last of his teeth out on Monday. I was so stressed I got DH to take him!

Half term next week, I am hoping I will manage to rest my hip and get some lie ins. Lots of baking and crafting I think for the boys!

Mrs, I'm a lawyer, but it's mostly glorified admin really! Part of me fancies being a coroner, but I'm not sure I'm emotionally stable enough for that in reality!

Bloody freezing here today. But a good drying day, so that's something.

Sat in children's ward DD2 jumped off the bed and had a bad break in her arm this morning. She has been in surgery and had pins put in and a cast on she is only 5 and so small....I feel heartbroken!! She is sleeping now and I am trying to distract myself.

Cancelled vet appointment!!

Oh no Sally will they be keeping her in? DD2 had a week in our local hospital over her GCSE week. The staff were great and it was all single ensuite rooms but I still felt like bloomin Harry Potter as the parent bed folded out of a cupboard

It is just one of those things that happen totally out of the blue . Home soon I am sure , Calpol , Ibuprofen , elevate the limb and lots of cwtches and presents and kisses and spoiling , Drs orders !
Am mightily impressed you being a Lawyer Fluffy , you must be so clever my dear,well done to you. As for Coroner ohhh that sounds so interesting .....GO FOR IT if the opportunity arises !

It is a truly glorious afternoon, sunny , blue skies as cold as ice but one of those days it feels good to be alive . You know what I mean I am sure .
DH just come in he has given me a row for eating the other pkt of midget gems from Mr T lol .......he had to eat his words because they were still there just gone to the back of the cupboard lol! Silly boy tut tut!

Oh Sally how awful! Silver lining that it's winter and not summer so she won't miss out on padding pool fun etc?! I'm sure she will bounce back

She is fine, glum and in pain but has unlimited cbeebies so is coping! She is staying in tonight but hopefully not for a week - your poor DD Woolly.

Definitely a silver lining Wreck - I hadn't thought of that. We live next to the sea, so had this happened in summer, it would have been much trickier!!
