Morning all! It is snow central here today so I am planning on a long dog walk and then Baileys Hot Chocolate in my Christmas mugs ☃️☕️

Christmas going to soft play on a Saturday is superhero brave in my books! What do you use for your planner? I’m thinking about changing my system this year and I would love to know what everyone else uses.

Fluffy I am in the same boat, I have put myself on a spending ban for the next few months but it’s proving harder than I thought!

I did well in Wilko, got some wrapping paper and bows for next to nothing. I did mean to get some cards for the kids to give to school friends, totally forgot!

We got the kids' cards in M&S. Once we've overseen 58 cards for them the chances of wanting to do our own will be slim! 😂

Fridge I can send you some . I bought two boxes in the Clintons sale after Christmas 2016 and DS didn't write them. He's Year 6 this year and will be year 7 at Christmas. He won't be sending cards to his entire class so they're free to a good home if you want them.

I've just made cookies. Christmas cookies, in fact, as we only have Christmas cutters!

And I had to hunt a no-egg recipe out as I used the last ones to make muffins, then DS asked me to make cookies! 🍪

Been for a long walk and got soaked but didn't mind at all it did me good.
Went into my NDN and had a chat , did his b/p for him and it was 193/93, he has a history of hypertension it is usually well controlled but his wife is in hospital and he is so stressed about her. Poor thing , l said he needs to get the Dr to see him at home . He said he wants to die. l tried to gee him up a bit by saying him having a stroke won't kill him but he will be left disabled even more. I am afraid I was a Joab's comforter with friends like me who needs enemies....... it is very sad.
It is supposed to be 11 degrees centigrade here but I am absolutely freezing just put the heating on.....I suppose it could be from getting wet out.....

it is dire here , DH is watching the snooker and I am devastated to find Major Crimes tv series has been cancelled and Sharon dies.....sob who will look after Rusty and the gang without her ? l am too invested in it perhaps it is just as well it has finished
Am debating getting a fitbit HR 2 for DH birthday ......are they any good and very important are they easy to use DH is not very tech minded nor am l does anyone have any experience of them please ?

I have the HR2 Mrs :) It's very easy to use. Wear it as a watch and charge it every few days. To view it on the device you just press a button and it scrolls through the data. You download the Fitbit app and sync through Bluetooth which once it is set up is automatic :)

I have a Flex 2 as I didn't want a watch or heart rate monitor. Fitbits are very user-friendly.

Morning! Monday again...boo! We've had a fairly lazy weekend though, as we are all a touch coldy and knackered.

Busy weekend out partying in my old uni city with a buch of the guys of DPs undergrad course

Work today. Humph. Dc have been in awful moods all weekend so I'm pleased they're going to school.

After a day where DH constantly woke me up from catching up on sleep (semi on-purpose), he (accidentally - bit 3 times!) managed to wake me as I had just dropped off last night, so my sleep cycle was f'cked and I only catnapped all night. I am so tired today. He goes on a business trip tomorrow night for a week, including over the weekend, and I have something every night, a very busy week at work, and early starts with DD all weekend. So I am very unimpressed today.

The only good thing is that I have time to do some sewing while he's away. But it's going to be far too busy otherwise- so those extra hours yesterday morning were much needed!

I'm about to grab another coffee before getting into work, and the. Lose myself for a day in paperwork.

Afternoon all... hope everyone feels much less tired now.
Walked up to town with DH , met friend and her DH in Cafe Nero, my DH and hers used to work tog years ago so they get on well thank God! DH is not very sociable tbh but then all the men in my life seems to be like this so is it just men ?.. Anyway I digress but my friend has a Fitbit HR2 and l asked her about it in front of DH and he poured cold water on it straight away so l am back to sq 1 for his birthday pressie !

We are fine here in good old Abergavenny the sun is shining and it has been lovely out , so different from yesterday . No snow here either ....

Afternoon everyone, we had a crackin' snowtastic weekend! Sunday morning was a proper Winter Wonderland but sadly this morning it's all melting . Although I'm quite glad I didn't have any problems driving into work.
