I love reading and sharing on this thread, I'm genuinely interested in what other people are getting their kids for Christmas. I actually don't notice list size and not one post has been bragging about the amount of gifts.

For a few years when dd was 2,3 4 I got a nealry every thing free or second hand for pennies, she had absolutely no idea, its the opening isn't it, and a toy at the end of the day. What child would say, I and rejecting this gorgeous schlieck set because it's second hand or, no thanks that pj masks costume I have been coveting only cost of you 50p.

I am not ashamed at all that I did this. We also have no idea what friends or relatives get for their dc as we don't compare ourselves to others.
