We need to think about buying a nice fake tree this year. Any thoughts on the best way to do this, please?

NoWordForFluffy · 07/10/2017 21:27

I got ours from here, lurking. It's really nice.

drspouse · 07/10/2017 21:27

Can you send their vouchers to other people (if e-vouchers)?

BaBaBaBoomBoom · 07/10/2017 21:51

Thank ilani-I've ordered the PACT coffee for DH-changed it to a 60 day reorder as he only drinks it at weekends & he already gets a monthly beer box from a 1 year subscription that I bought him 5 years ago but he loved so much I kept going 🙄

Here's my PACT coffee link. www.pactcoffee.com/sign-up?voucher=EVELYN-B80897

Anyone know anything about loose leaf tea? Db has accidentally started drinking it as bought the wrong stuff but I don't know what to buy!

TeaPleaseTa · 07/10/2017 22:31

Only because NotPennysBoat asked (ooh, Lost, it started off good eh?!) I'm leaving this here: www.etsy.com/shop/HappyBeadsUK

Rockhopper81 · 07/10/2017 22:34

Does the Pact coffee come in labelled packaging? Working out if I need it delivered somewhere else to stop my dad spotting it!

And I can cancel the subscription after the first bag arrives?
unless he absolutely loves it, then I'll keep it going

drspouse · 07/10/2017 22:37

You can cancel the subscription and yes there's a label on the package (think DH has spotted one of mine!)

My link by the way...

shentok · 07/10/2017 22:46

Hi all, long time lurker here, can anyone link/recommend some bargain Pokemon figures? I remember a few threads back some had ordered a set for diy advent calendars. Thank you so much for all your bargains!

Bryna · 07/10/2017 23:00

Disclaimer - it will also give me £10 off too!

ChoccyJules · 07/10/2017 23:07

Have got to buy for 7 boys between 10 and 15, they are my most tricky group. Two years ago I went Book People and last year Amazon vouchers. I think it may have to be vouchers again unless anyone has any good ideas (that many vouchers is actually quite costly).

Pumpkintopf · 07/10/2017 23:19

@ChoccyJules , how about board games? Home bargains usually have good ones at bargain prices.

I’ve bought the Guinness book of world records for this age group before-rrp is expensive but Amazon usually has it vastly reduced.

Or some decent earphones? Some good ones in the Amazon lightning deals this week, £40 down to about £8 and good reviews...

TellMeItsNotTrue · 07/10/2017 23:20

Avon have an earring advent calendar with a new pair every day. It's reduced from £15 to £10

Postage is £3.50 but might be worth seeing if anyone knows of anyone who does Avon locally and ordering that way to get free delivery? They all have their own Avon pages now too I think, the link is to the owner of extreme couponing and bargains UK on Facebook.

I don't do Avon but in case this means anything to anyone, it's apparently this price in campaign c17

TellMeItsNotTrue · 07/10/2017 23:22

Choccy if you do go down the vouchers road, cinema vouchers have gone down well in the past for similar ages, also means you can wrap a cheap big bag of popcorn and attach voucher, so they still have something to open rather than just handing over an envelope

Haudyerwheesht · 07/10/2017 23:26

choccy ds is almost 11 and would love sports direct vouchers if that's any use? Or there's a gamers edition of guiness world records book out too?

Pumpkintopf · 08/10/2017 00:05

@TellMeItsNotTrue that’s a fab idea!!

TellMeItsNotTrue · 08/10/2017 00:48

Thanks Pumpkin it goes down really well, I've swapped popcorn for share bags of sweets in the past too, bonus if the offer is on where you get a free ticket with x amounts of packs - I give them that many packs, they get a free ticket, chocolate/sweets and a voucher for cinema

primitivemom · 08/10/2017 01:47

Does anyone have a code for claires accessories please? X

Rockhopper81 · 08/10/2017 02:30

Have set up a Pact Coffee plan - my referral is here if anybody is still looking for one. 😊

ja9r · 08/10/2017 02:35

@ChoccyJules this year I've bought the boys that age waterproof Bluetooth speakers from Primark £7.

AlbusPercival · 08/10/2017 06:01

@buckeejit

What sort of loose leaf do they like?

Morissons have just started stocking pure leaf which is delicious.

Depending on budget you could make a mini hamper of a few?

Bodeccia · 08/10/2017 06:47

Teapigs tea is £3 a box in waitrose at the moment rather than £4.50 (I think). Still expensive for a box of not very many teabags, but a good present for grown ups from children, or a secret santa?

Kraggle · 08/10/2017 07:26

www.pactcoffee.com/sign-up?voucher=RUTH-1351AB here's my Pact referral, thanks to the persons I used! Can you cancel straight away or is it better to wait until the first one is delivered.

I've set the next delivery to 60 days as dh doesn't drink that much coffee but that will give me time to decide whether to keep it on as a birthday present for him.

imip · 08/10/2017 07:38

bodeccia I use teapigs tea as Christmas presents for teachers. 4 dc at primary, 2 with ASD, 2 SENCOs and 4 part-time teachers in two of their classes. I've worked hard with 1 teacher on a hard-fought-for EHCP - it's a lot of good will that's proving costly, so thank-you for that!
