@TheDrs When I made one for my DD I asked in my local pharmacy and they were more than happy to give me some empty medicine bottles and syringes for free (I did say I was happy to pay I wasn't being a CF!). They may have just been having a friendly day Grin but worth an ask maybe?

gaggiagirl · 06/10/2017 08:15

Matalan are doing spotty family pyjamas this year for charity.
Someone on another thread says Hatley black Friday sale is good for family pyjamas.

TweedyF · 06/10/2017 08:16

I have a referral link for 20% off at Biscuiteers (I get £5 credit). PM if you would like it.

Am off to get my EB mugs now - thanks everyone!

Jupitertomars · 06/10/2017 08:40

Not really a Christmas present bargain but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

Travelodge are doing 30% off until 8th October for dates until January.

I booked two hotel rooms for four people (separate transactions) 9 days before xmas in Edinburgh for £60 but it can be used across the uk.

Thought it would be good to make it our Christmas night out there/do shopping/ Christmas markets and compared to local hotels at that time of year is very cheap.

Superdrug deals this week.
Real techniques lip set £19.99 down to £7.99 and Victoria secrets spray £8!
Teenage sister and neice sorted!

WhyamIBoredathome · 06/10/2017 09:12

tweedy have you tried their biscuits? I was given an iced one for my birthday and I was really unimpressed. It was so so dry and it just disintegrated into crumbs as soon as I bit into it. It was supposed to be chocolate flavour and it didn't even taste very chocolatey. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend.

WhyamIBoredathome · 06/10/2017 09:13

Ok, so I don't actually need Eb mugs. Nor do I have anyone to buy them for. But still temptedHmm

tistheseason2bjolly · 06/10/2017 09:16

Ravensburger 07562 Jigsaw Puzzle 2 x 12 Pieces 'Cinderella' for £5.23 at Amazon.co.uk

Elizabethtailored · 06/10/2017 09:16

I agree. Biscuiteers biscuits look beautiful but are really foul to eat. Even my two young children refused them after I Had rejected which is unheard of. Think it's all about appearance rather than flavour.

WhyamIBoredathome · 06/10/2017 09:24

Elizabeth I thought maybe I'd had a duff one but it seems not if others think the same. They won't last once people realise they taste like sawdust!

TalkingOrmer · 06/10/2017 09:25

ChristmasUnicorn thank you. Using your instructions I got 3 EB mugs for £20.

Yellow I used your referral code.

Jennywallpaper · 06/10/2017 09:27

Very are doing 3 for 2 on a lot of gift items including toys. Might be worth a look for some of the larger items especially if you're a new member and can get an extra 20% off!

MarriedAroundChristmas · 06/10/2017 09:31

@christmasunicorn Thanks for the EB link, great bargain (once I'd sorted it!).

I've ordered the Cadbury retro boxes from Superdrug. Slightly more expensive at £5 each, but free delivery, so will send here to the Channel Islands. Doubt anywhere here will sell them!

Bearbehind · 06/10/2017 09:31

I must be being a bit thick here because very time I try to do the EB mug thing I lose the 2 for £30 offer when I add the polka dot mug- what am I doing wrong?

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/10/2017 09:43

Wisest

Argos do Aeropress for £30, you can use nectar point vouchers in Argos if you have any.

On the nectar desktop you can search for "e-rewards", register with them & take the surveys which are worth 100-300 nectar points each.

I've been saving mine for ages & I've got £115 so far to spend on my Christmas shop. You can link nectar cards to online shopping & pay online using nectar points.

Dhs points are being saved for the January shopping.

I rarely shop in sainsburys but I still get loads of points.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 06/10/2017 09:49

Could you thread a bit of thread/twine/thin ribbon/rustic string through the hole of the Joules label then attatch with a tiny safety pin? Much like a high end boutique place would!

Pleased to hear things are better toblerone x

Big LOL dolls in stock at Tesco!

NeitherNowtNorSummat01 · 06/10/2017 09:53

I'm being dopey too. I can't get the eb links to work either

1stTimeMama · 06/10/2017 09:58

I used a referral for EB, put the extra code in and my basket said £20. Brilliant. Then I came to buy it, and it goes up to £29.90, including postage of £4.95. What am I doing wrong?

KitKatCHA · 06/10/2017 10:07

Playmobil Children's Hospital camel says it's the lowest price it's ever been on Amazon

Kids claw machine RRP is £44.99 which I think is a bit steep but the reduced price of £19.99 seems better. My kids love the claw machine in the arcades so getting it as a daft gift!

John Adams Blo pens set down from £29.99 to £9.99

MarriedAroundChristmas · 06/10/2017 10:14

I never managed £20 for 3 mugs. I managed £26, which I was happy with, so went ahead with that. By adding others codes, it lost the 2 for £30 code for me.

I used the £10 off from below, sent by @christmasunicorn near midnight. I also used WELCOME15UK for 15% off, and here is my referral link for the free polka dot mug ( it gives me £15 off a £75 order, not sure I'll use it).

Sorry it's not a proper link, not sure how to do it on the app.

missmaxie · 06/10/2017 10:22

blizy thank you, my nieces are now sorted too!

Rockchick1984 · 06/10/2017 10:26

Neithernow I didn't realise you had to add the spotty mug to basket yourself, I assumed that it did it for you with the referral code Blush

Once I did that, used the referral code, then the extra code, it worked fine!

NoWordForFluffy · 06/10/2017 10:36

Word of warning: the Spicery box is labelled as such on the outside of the packaging. DH just told me it’s arrived. Good job I’d decided against it being his present!
