My Good Houskeeping magazine arrived the other day, I got the 6 issues for £6 deal for myself. Still no Emma Bridgewater mug yet though - has anyone else received theirs yet? Not sure when to chase.

penstemon · 26/09/2017 13:08

Lego friends rollercoaster down to £53 on Amazon. Best price ever. Usually around £64. Both DC wanted this so I'm thrilled with the bargain. Or at least the GP will be as they are getting this for them.

LostMyRubySlippers · 26/09/2017 13:15

Mummys I used your Pact referral code
Here is my [[http://www.pactcoffee.com/sign-up?voucher=SIAN-A33C65 code]] if anyone would like to use it, thanks

LostMyRubySlippers · 26/09/2017 13:16

Link fail!!
Pact code
Thanks

LostMyRubySlippers · 26/09/2017 13:17

beady I did get my mug pretty quickly after ordering- think it was the week before the magazine came?

singadream · 26/09/2017 13:24

Went to Smyths. Got £30 off (£157 spend). Dd birthday and Christmas sorted. Yay!

Haudyerwheesht · 26/09/2017 13:27

B&M have got their Xmas throws and cushions in. They also have jojo bow blind bags for £2.99 each. Dd got one the other day and they're actually decent wee bows. You get 2 in a pack.

Also managed to get dd a lockable diary for £2.99 because she wants to 'keep her secrets'.

LostMyRubySlippers · 26/09/2017 13:27

mummys I'm an idiot, for some reason the referral code I used hasn't worked! So I've been billed the full amount. Think it's because I was deciding whether to get pods or packs & although it said it had been applied it must've wiped it off while I was chopping & changing Confused have emailed them to see if there's anything i can do

I got my emma Bridgewater mug a week before the mag

d270r0 · 26/09/2017 13:37

£25 off on a £50 spend at the body shop. Good offer but sadly the sdvent calendars are excluded from offer Sad

d270r0 · 26/09/2017 13:37

Sorry code for body shop is 19806

JangleJangleJangle · 26/09/2017 13:49

Does anyone know if netball hoops are invited in the 3 for 2 at Argos?

singadream · 26/09/2017 13:49

Beadyboo got my mug about two weeks ago and first mag two days ago.

Haudyerwheesht · 26/09/2017 13:52

Has anyone bought any of the Lego compatible tape stuff? There's loads at all different prices but don't know if any are any use?

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 26/09/2017 13:53

I got some Ocado vouchers in a parcel, £20 off a £80 spent and free deliveries, for new customers. Ocado doesn't believe in Scotland so if anyone wants one PM me!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 26/09/2017 13:55

Not a bargain but does any of the other lol collectors want to swap a snow angel? We have 3 😱

Curious2468 · 26/09/2017 14:03

Urgh was not quick enough for the Lego 😖

Shufflebumnessie · 26/09/2017 14:11

Does anyone know if Hawkins Bazaar offer any discount codes in the run up to Christmas?

boredofmyoldname · 26/09/2017 14:34

@dumbledoresamy I bought 2 of the big torches last year (one standard Minifigure style and one Darth Vader), they're still working fine and they've stood up to a lot of bumps and throws come to think I haven't even changed the batteries. Another plus point is that you can swap the masks/heads between them to mix and match which is apparently funny Hmm :o

Pigleychez · 26/09/2017 14:37

Haudyerwheesht Re Lego
My parents bought dd2 the Wilko Lego for her birthday in May. Yes its compatible but the quality is very noticeable. They are hard to fit together then a pain to get apart.
The sets are annoying too. I mean why build a wall in the proper way using interlocking bricks when you can build it with 1000 tiny 1 flat bricks! Hmm Anyway after spending ages helping her build them and coming away with very sore fingers i'll stick with proper Lego next time! The base boards work fine though :)

boredofmyoldname · 26/09/2017 14:38

@bubblefrog the 2 for £15 still runs if you're just buying 2 items but if you were buying 3 the 2 dearest would be full price and the third would be free.

Remember to shop around and double check items everyone, niece had picked out some bits including a £19.99 ride on last week which is now priced at £29.99!

LunarGirl · 26/09/2017 14:44

Has anyone ordered the LOL dolls from aliexpress? I know they're fake but was wondering what the quality was like. Do they unwrap like the proper ones? DD will only be just turned 5 so I really don't think she'll notice the difference and I just can't bring myself to pay a tenner for one tiny bloody doll Grin

MummysMaison · 26/09/2017 14:56

So I was a bit cheeky and once i ordered my Pact Coffee i used my own discount code the second time to open a new account with my other email. This then automatically discounted another £5 off my original account for the next bag. I've asked them to ship this 3rd bag tomorrow and i'll then cancel the plan. So all in all I have 3 bags of coffee beans delivered for less than £6! I already has a coffee bean hamper in my wish list for DSD so this has saved me about £25!

fraggle84 · 26/09/2017 15:03

I'd stick with Lego rather than the cheaper bricks

LostMyRubySlippers · 26/09/2017 15:14

Good thinking mummys I might set up another account in DHs name to order another pack- that will soften the blow of paying full price for the first pack lol!
I've kept a note of your referral code so if they let me apply this retrospectively then I'll use this but not holding out much hope for that! Hmm
