Thanks reastie for this new thread - it's all moving so fast!!

I still have a lot to buy!

After 2 good laptops too if anyone has any recommendations, dd2 would mainly use for sims etc. I've seen Very have offers for £50-£100 back on some laptops but I'm not very clued up on the specs of each one!

Theromanempire · 17/09/2017 15:07

@chocolateteabag thank you so much, I would really appreciate that Smile

redexpat · 17/09/2017 15:21

I seem to post again and again about Wish, but the childrens applique dresses that are going for £29 in boden are about £5 on wish.

debbiewest0 · 17/09/2017 15:29

Those fingerlings are nine pounds on Amazon today in case people wanted one. Could someone tell me is that a good price for them/worth it as DD was looking at them in store. Thanks

ladymelbourne1926 · 17/09/2017 15:34

Phew found you all thanks for the new thread

FoofFighter · 17/09/2017 15:38

DD has one, I commented on either this thread or the end of last about it @debbiewest0 - I'd happily pay £9 for one, but no more.

Carrie76 · 17/09/2017 15:40

@IceLemonGin there are a few playdoh deals on sports direct here

mayathebee · 17/09/2017 15:46

Can anyone help me out with Harry Potter lego? DD1 has just started to get interested in lego and is obsessed with Harry Potter so I'd like to get her a small Harry Potter lego set. I've looked on amazon and they all seem to be from third party sellers and very expensive. There isn't much on the usual sites - argos, toys r us, smyths etc. I take it they don't sell the sets any more. Is eBay my best option?

Sogrowjo · 17/09/2017 15:47

What exactly is Wish and why is everything so cheap?! 🤔

At £9, should I fingerling or not?

jenniferl1983 · 17/09/2017 15:49

I've fingerlinged! thank you debbie for the heads up.

imsorryiasked · 17/09/2017 15:58

Someone on one of the previous threads was after a plush robot doll - if you still need one Studio have this one at £3.99

Annwithnoe · 17/09/2017 16:39

Irish bargain hunters - any recommendations for cash back sites ?

Also HomeStore & More have their own version of Josephjoseph bowls for €5. Lighter and smaller than the originals but perfect for my baking mad tween niece

SheStoodInTheStorm · 17/09/2017 16:48

It was me after fingerlings - thank you! Just ordered one Smile hope it's genuine Confused

CanIHaveChocolatePlease · 17/09/2017 16:49

I've been lurking on these threads as a Christmas addict and I'm afraid I don't have any bargains to contribute.

But I sound and feel thick for asking this but-what way do the cashback sites ye all seem to use work? Blush

I know that you have to clear your internet history and then shop through the link on the cashback site to get your cashback, but do they actually work or not? Are they reliable? Is it worth paying the monthly/ yearly fee on them so that you can get extra discounts and cashback? Blush

As someone who loves to save money and hates having to spend too much of it (especially as I'm still in school and only have a part-time job so don't have loads of money), I'm looking into using these but I'm afraid of getting conned or having my details stolen or something Blush

I've googled them to see if they are safe and user-friendly and they seem to be but i'm wary of using them so if anyone has good tips for using these sites successfully and has had actual good experiences with them, thanks in advance Grin

CanIHaveChocolatePlease · 17/09/2017 16:51

Annwithnoe I'm Irish and have just asked about cashback sites too-great minds think alike! Xmas Grin

Those looking for the Playmobil hospital, just a thought - DD wanted it last year but we already have some large buildings (school & hotel as well as fire station) and I couldn't face buying it as we had no where to store it. Instead, I went on the actual Playmobil website & got various of the hospital room sets (operating theatre, dentist, paeds & maternity i think) & the DC have happily used that in the hospital & school building this year as well as the stables now I think about it. It doesn't have the wow factor obviously but has been much easier to store!

Fairytoad · 17/09/2017 16:57

Been reading through all the threads and I am feeling prepared thanks to some great bargains. Does anyone have a discount code for ELC by any chance? Smile

GinYummy · 17/09/2017 17:00

Thanks for the new thread - love the name!
My dd has become obsessed with PJ Masks overnight (damn you disneylife!!). Has anyone seen any bargain toys or clothes from the show please? Thank you

GinYummy · 17/09/2017 17:01

I also have a code for £10 off a £50 white company spend if anyone wants it?

imsorryiasked · 17/09/2017 17:05

Baby Born Interactive Unicorn for £19.99, seems to be about £10 less than Amazon are selling it for (disclaimer, I have no idea what it does)

@GinYummy not particularly bargainous but Studio have some PJ Masks stuff

InTheRoseGarden · 17/09/2017 17:16

Still on the Playmobil... It doesn't show up as reduced but this Playmobil pirates boat is a third less than anywhere else I've looked:

direct.asda.com/george/toys-character/baby-toddler-toys/playmobil-floating-soldiers-patrol-boat-6681/050322641,default,pd.html

And with the pirates' hide out, pirates' cave and Blackbeard pirate all reduced on the Playmobil website this makes a nice little pirate collection for DS!

InTheRoseGarden · 17/09/2017 17:17

Forgot to say it's £20 and it's the Asda toy sale!

Theimpossiblegirl · 17/09/2017 17:24

CanIhaveChocolate
I use Topcashback and find it to be fairly reliable. Most transactions are tracked unless I use a voucher from another site, but I do that knowing I could lose out on cash back.
It's no different to going through Nectar for points tbh.
There are sometimes deals- spend a certain amount for extra cashback, a higher rate or bonus points. I don't get a fortune back but it adds up, especially if booking a holiday or doing insurance.
I don't pay- you can have a classic or premium account. premium gets a bit more cash but I downgraded after the first year to save fees.

Pumpkin strange question but how woolly are those socks? I'm a bit hit and miss with wool sometimes but they look lovely. Just not sure if I'd find them itchy.
