Oh hello oh holy!

They're rather nice - you will see I lined them up so you can see all four sides of the tin in the photo .

Chippytheelf29 · 20/09/2017 21:02

If anyone can refer me to next would they mind pm img me.I think we both get a discount?

drspouse · 20/09/2017 21:09

Have just put in my Book People order, that's pretty much all the children on my list sorted except for my goddaughter (can't find anything that special that I don't think she's got) and her brother's birthday.

I have a referral code for them, flash sale ends at midnight tonight.

I am SO tempted by Habitat rugs but they are quite pricey even with the discount, and I can't see any I can't live without.

Minster2012 · 20/09/2017 21:16

Thank you to ohboll0cks and the other person for suggesting how to train your dragon set & the book people, great idea for friend & where to buy it, brilliant! Also bought a set of 'dirty bertie' books for 5 year old, seem very good.

God this is fast moving!! Zoooooooommmm😁

Questionsquestionsquestions · 20/09/2017 21:22

Have pm-ed you Chippy.

DelurkingAJ · 20/09/2017 21:28

We have Kego Junior fire stuff and whilst it's nice enough I'd buy the real deal and help them make it for the year or so until they can themselves. But we're Lego fans here and DS has had real Lego since about 3.

PurpleSock · 20/09/2017 21:31

Does anyone have any idea where I can get nice "photo engraved" necklaces from please? I'm after the type that look like they're lasered on.

Had some a few years ago from a local heel bar that were fab but went in today and they don't do them any more.

Ideally I want a dog tag shaped one with a photo on the front and text on the back

Very specific I know but if anyone has any recommendations I'd certainly appreciate it, price isn't too much of a problem but obviously don't want to pay loads!

Haven't read the whole thread yet so somebody may already have posted these, but spotted these unicorn make up brushes on amazon

www.amazon.co.uk/VWH-Unicorn-Foundation-Eyeliner-Cosmetic/dp/B0721D6Y48/ref=as_sl_pc_qf_sp_asin_til?tag=httpswwwf0b5b-21&linkCode=w00&linkId=a1ad2098b02ea409065e3924abd462c3&creativeASIN=B0721D6Y48&tag=mumsnetforum-21

There is a Facebook page called "bargain hunters - don't get stuffed by Christmas" which posts lots of items that have been reduced, mostly on amazon. Worth a follow.

Again, apologies if this has already been mentioned Smile

beadyboo · 20/09/2017 21:40

My niece has asked for 'building blocks' by which DSis thinks she means lego. She is almost 4 and has a birthday close to Christmas so I can get a few bits (I've already got her the Playmobil fire engine and little farm). Can anyone recommend anything good for that age? Little sets, or should I just get an assortment of bricks and let her use her imagination?
Still on the look out for stationery advent calendars if anyone can help?
I missed the aquadraw bargain on Amazon, but whilst browsing I found Jamie Oliver's 5 book down to £10.99 which may help someone? It's on offer in Waterstones for £13 and £26 full price. I didn't buy it for myself, no not me

Jessiegirl · 20/09/2017 21:47

@Annwithnoe I'm looking for the same sort of thing. A little sewing machine for a 7 year old. If any one has a recommendation I would appreciate it. I looked at a John Lewis one and the reviews weren't great.

NoWordForFluffy · 20/09/2017 21:47

My two (3.2 and 4.3) love the Lego City stuff. DD also likes the Cars Lego Junior kits. I've got a mix of those, plus some Lego Classic as well. Covering all bases!

winewolfhowls · 20/09/2017 21:56

Undecided about playmobil deals so far, think I was spoilt with last year's glitch bargain code!

StubbleTurnips · 20/09/2017 21:59

beady you can get easy build Lego sets (I think it's Lego juniors) which we started DD with last year at 3, she's now on for the new Lego Xmas release with DH!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 20/09/2017 21:59

Think tesco has pulled that code we were all using Sad

drspouse · 20/09/2017 22:08

My DS can help with a Lego Juniors kit but has no hope with any of the City/older kids ones. He's 5.5 but has quite poor motor skills.

RJnomore1 · 20/09/2017 22:09

Acht I've misssed the Lancôme mascara sets.

Gutted.

VoldemortsNipple · 20/09/2017 22:10

Quidco are offering £20 cash back on certain items from Zavvi including 12 months Xbox subscription and apparently works on pre order of FIFA 18. Great deal for teenage boys.

Ilikesweetpeas · 20/09/2017 22:18

People looking for mini sewing machines for children keep an eye on Aldi- got my dd a great one in there last October. In fact I've been known to use it myself for small jobs, it's very good!

winewolfhowls · 20/09/2017 22:20
