woodwaj - unfortunately, the Lego Deathstar is a collectible piece (and Lego knows it!), so it's unlikely to be reduced anywhere (truthfully, it's unlikely to be sold in all that many places - its a big, expensive kit that people just don't buy on impulse generally).

The best way to get a discount would be with a Merlin annual pass at Legoland, but obviously that only works if you already have a pass!

Are you firm on the Deathstar? There tends to be more offers on mid-range Star Wars kits.

Brittbugs - if you saw it for $326 in the Lego shop in New York, you should've found a way to bring it home!! It's $500 dollars on the Lego online store and the New York shop follows the pricing of online (being an actual Lego shop), so that would've been a real bargain!!

unicorn - they opened the boxes?! Were they still sealed?? Did they find much, or a couple of things? Not that it helps at all, just wondering how much they found...

I am imagining my mums reaction if I'd have done that at 8...it's scaring me, many many years on...

Hope you managed to salvage something from it. And forgive your children eventually (meant in the same manner your original post was, I'm not being a terrible person).

^I have one and I've had notice the second one (when it was restocked) has been dispatched this morning. I did click/collect.

friskybivalves · 20/09/2017 11:17

I too have been notified it has been dispatched. I’m due to be able to click and collect at some point today so let’s see.

Matilda2013 · 20/09/2017 11:22

Mine is also due to be available for click and collect today!

MrsCrimbo74 · 20/09/2017 11:33

Not sure if this website has been mentioned before, but for anyone with relatives that are keen history buffs or are interested in either of the world wars memorabilia, Sweet and Nostalgic is an amazing website, they do all sorts of memorabilia including gift packs for around £5 they do cover all eras from 1910 right up to 2000 so even a gift for a grandparent, some bits to reminisce about their childhood. They also have sweets from all eras from £2.00

Very very happy because I get 10% staff discount, however yesterday was a 'special colleague discount' event so I got 20% off. I paid £24.00 GrinGrin

If three people use my link I can get a free book for the little sister of the person I did the wonka book for (wonka book looks fantastic for Roald Dahl fans)
