Thanks Mrs and CBeebies. I'm in Cardiff so under C&V. It's just a nuisance having to change the bottle in the night but it's not so bad. I'm not a great sleeper anyway and fingers crossed it's temporary....

On a lighter note, I can't wait for Halloween to come and go and for November to arrive. The build up and excitement for me really begins in November

I missed all the Welsh talk earlier in the thread. I have family in Monmouthshire and remember spending summers with my late aunt and uncle in Abergavenny.

Muddling, I said to DH earlier that once November arrives we can say that Christmas is next month and that was exciting!

I'm all about the double posting tonight...yes, we are staying in C at Christmas, so that could work out, Woolly!

I really can't believe how quickly the time is going now, Christmas will be here before we know it!
The weather is awful here, it's been grey and raining all day and the wind is strong, it felt like it was rocking my car earlier.
I now have an unexpected 2 hours home alone in peace so have lit a winter candle (Yankee - Cosy by the Fire) and am watching Kirsties Handmade Christmas while I crochet more poppies. I know she can be annoying but she loves things that are traditional and / or kitsch which I also love 🎄

Just popping in - blimmin love Christmas and countdown but overseas this year and on holiday for much of the final run up....

I have just seen specialists jn the supermarket here (honestly thought I'd need to have them DHL'd over)... can I prep a sprout dish (e.g. With chestnuts) and freeze it yet? You never know what the supermarkets will ah w from week to week here!

Morning! We've survived a night in a hotel room with two small children. Just! They're a nightmare as they won't go to bloody sleep, so we end up going 2 hours' early and they go 2 hours' late as a compromise. Thank god we don't do this often!

Mama you can blanch and freeze them easily. I often do to make cooking them on christmas day quicker.

Half term here this week so I’ve got a couple of cinema trips booked. I’ve also promised DS a minecraft marathon while I’m baking the Christmas cake.
