It's freezing today and made me think of Christmas :)

My DD1 (6) has asked for a Nintendo switch already... they are horrifically expensive!!

My DD2 (4) never asks for anything!

Do you know yet what your kids are getting?

Nearly, we haven't massive warrior cat's fan too. Did you see there's an annual of it.sort of field guide.

Llamacorn · 13/09/2017 10:31

I'm really torn on main presents for my dc this year. Dd1 (15) will probably get new iPhone. Dd 2 needs a new phone, but she is into gaming and obsessed with sims 4 and would much prefer getting a MacBook. Initially we were going to get iPhones for the older 2 and MacBook for the youngest, as she is learning to touch type through school and likes gaming too. However the thought of buying 2 MacBooks is bloody eye watering though Confused really not sure what to do!

Haven't really done my lists for the rest of things this year (quite late for me!) dd1 will prob gets clothes and make up, perhaps a fitbit, depending. dd2 Harry Potter and Lego stuff. dd3 hatchimal, lol dolls, Lego, American girl stuff.

Need to get my bum in gear!

DD(12)
Haven't got many ideas for a main present but thinking one of those graphic tablets ( think thats what they're called - you draw on it basically!)
Books - lots of.....
Electronic thesaurus (she asked for this)
Hunger games mug
Tetris Dual board game
Bath bombs and stationery bits
Disney shoe ornament

DD(6)
Tiny Treasures doll
Enchantimals dolls
Rainbow Magic boxset
Egged On board game
Lots of beads and things to make bracelets
Disney snow globe maker
Disney shoe ornament

Then of course some chocolates and/or sweets and the obligatory fluffy socks and new pj's on Christmas Eve.

Nearly.... where did you get the unicorn pjs and onesie from please?

Babyblues14 · 13/09/2017 12:43

Placemarking to steal ideas Wink

Babyblues14 · 13/09/2017 12:44

They have loads of unicorn stuff in Primark atm. Pjs and onesie. My sis is obsessed

Tobebythesea · 13/09/2017 21:04

Ikea play kitchen for DD who is 2.

Curlyloveswine · 13/09/2017 21:15

3 y/o DD is getting
-a nice dressing gown,
-slippers,
-personalised book (Penwizard? I.e. Peppa Pig with her in the story),
-a new lunch bag,
-age appropriate jewellery making kit,
-theatre tickets for Peppa Pig.
-things to add to things she likes already so I don't have to create new storage

I feel a bit mean, but I organised everything after she had her birthday and because her Dad and I aren't together and buy separately, she has more than enough. Most of the above things will be naicer versions than I'd buy if mid year. She'll probably spend the day playing with the boxes anyway!

Curlyloveswine · 13/09/2017 21:16

Should add- I'll be spending the next 3 months influencing her. "Wouldn't it be LOVELY if Father Christmas brought you a new dressing gown??? You'd better be a good girl!"

nigelsbigface · 14/09/2017 06:36

My two dd's are getting a Nintendo switch between them I think...
God knows what to get dd1 for her birthday which is also at Christmas...

annandale · 14/09/2017 06:53

DS (13) will be getting a solar phone charger.

Am liking the Lush jelly bomb and the sprocket printer (he has a birthday shortly after Christmas so that's a possibility).

Have Christmas with niece and nephew Smile so thank you all for great ideas. Am rather underwhelmed by the programmable robot mouse, maybe it's more fun than it looks.

I8toys · 14/09/2017 08:51

DS 12 and DS 14. DS12 is getting Nintendo Switch and games for birthday. Getting Xbox X as a joint present for Christmas between them. New games for Xbox and Switch. Rick and Morty merch. Exploding Kittens merch from US. Bears vs Babies new game from Oatmeal. Cold hard cash probably.

dowagercountess · 14/09/2017 08:57

My 10 year old got a nintendo switch for her birthday, it's fab! I'm not a computer games person at all but I love Mario Kart!

DH bought one "for the kids" and has spent practically every evening since playing Zelda Hmm

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 14/09/2017 13:25

My nearly 7 year old is getting a switch for her birthday and I'm really looking forward to mario kart!

My Little Pony Shining Friends Pinkie Pie Figure
My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Rarity Figure
My Little Pony 10 Coloured Pen
Trolls Queen Poppy Talkin' Troll Plush Doll

Marking place for good ideas.

Thanks all!

gamerchick · 18/09/2017 13:29

My youngest gave me a decent list of big ticket items for Christmas. I've told him to choose one of them.

The struggle is very real I almost feel sorry for him Grin

I'm talking PS4, switch, bike, mobile phone etc. It ain't happening.

My other 2 just want money. It's a raining on the inside feeling that is Sad
