It's freezing today and made me think of Christmas :)

My DD1 (6) has asked for a Nintendo switch already... they are horrifically expensive!!

My DD2 (4) never asks for anything!

Do you know yet what your kids are getting?

Some trainers
Pens and shit

Absolutely no idea! We have all the LEGO we could ever want and all the computer games. He has a bike, not that he ever rides it.

Maybe some more story CDs - the David Walliums ones from last year are brilliant!

Argggg. I need to give this some thought 😬

Ohb0llocks · 07/09/2017 20:32

Absolutely no idea yet!

Need everything sorted by Nov too ideally as I'm due on 13th Nov.

Any suggestions for 3 year old DS (4 in Jan) and 5 year old DSS would be welcome!

Katescurios · 07/09/2017 20:35

My DD is 3 she is getting a bike from her grandparents and we're getting her a load of dress up stuff.

Dumbledoresgirl · 07/09/2017 20:35

Ds2 (20) a beard trimmer. Grin

Other than that, no.

MuddlingThroughLife · 07/09/2017 21:32

Starting to gather ideas slowly.and have started to pick up a few bits and some stocking fillers. I've already got the girls a sprocket to share and a pack of printing paper each for their stockings.

As for the "big" presents, dd1 (soon to be 16) would like a laptop. Dd2 (soon to be 13) would like a tablet so she can watch you tube and Netflix on it instead of having to use her phone. Ds (10) no idea! Doesn't need anything big so might just get him lots of smaller bits instead. 🎗

Fandabidozy · 07/09/2017 21:46

Yes, I'm organised and almost done for once :o

DD(4) has:
Dr Seuss classics book
Hooded cat blanket
Hungry Hippos
Alphabet floor puzzle
Dolls clothes
Plus a main gift depending on what she asks for, possibly a kids CD player and CD.

DS(11) has:
Ripley's 2017 book
I love my minifigure book
Crochet rainbow blanket
Bugs in the kitchen
Lego train set

NapQueen · 07/09/2017 21:50

He'll get a new motorbike kit and matching push bike kit from 'us'

Stocking pressies will be craft stuff, books, sweets, few bits from Smiggle (bought in the sale).

Main presents are laptop from me, DS 2D XL from her Dad and Heeleys from her granny.

She'll get some money from other relatives which no doubt she will want to spend on even more Lego!

christmasunicorn

Maybe some other high end make up bits/

Engine question. Why high end make up for your 13 year old daughter? Wouldn't it make sense to star her on the pretty cheap stuff so that she can then afford herself. Once you know the high end stuff, it's bloody difficult to swop to the cheaper stuff. I speak from experience!

OatcakeCravings · 08/09/2017 07:04

My DS age 9 has asked for a Nintendo Switch. I'm going to get it soon. In the meantime I've bought a Nerf gun, a board game and a couple of CDs and that's going to be it. His stocking won't have so much in it but at about £300 for the Switch I think that is enough. I'm going to try to be good and not twitch!1

Knope2020 · 08/09/2017 07:09

Do check out my tip upthread 're Nintendo switch!!!
