Llamacorn thank you.

SnowBodyforrrrm · 24/08/2017 23:23

I picked up some nice stocking fillers from primark. I went to a relatively small one so wasn't expecting to find much.

I got my twin girls (5)

Nail polish set - £2.50
Chip bag - £5.00
Mrs Pots purse - £6
Beauty & the Beast cup - £5

I'm looking forward to a nosy in a big store once the kids are back to school, specifically for Harry Potter goodies ⚡️ for me

Waitingforegg- thank you! Promised ds a maxi micro for starting school as he has outgrown his mini micro and the code totally works so I spent the £20 it saved me on a very cute top for ds2 from there instead thus saving nothing

Soslowmo · 24/08/2017 23:46

Vino - is the unicorn colouring book good? I've had it in my amazon basket for a while.

Mermaid blankets can anyone recommend one please? Dd has been creating her own out of a normal blanket!

FoxtrotOscarBackToEconomy · 25/08/2017 06:14

Emma Bridgewater have 20% off everything this weekend here

There are a few exclusion for seconds and discontinued items. Not a massive bargain, but the mugs are nice gifts - in fact there are loads of lovely gifts.

PamelaEwing · 25/08/2017 07:04

Molton Brown free UK delivery until Monday and free travel size body wash if you spend over £35

Reastie · 25/08/2017 07:05

Snowbody that purse looks great, dd would love that

FoofFighter · 25/08/2017 07:17

@Soslowmo I got this mermaid blanket delivered last week

www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01IZI0ETA

I am really thrilled with the quality of it. And it was only a fiver then too

WreckTangled · 25/08/2017 07:17

Carrie thanks have tried everything! I'll take it as a sign that I shouldn't buy them!

woodwaj · 25/08/2017 07:39

Only 4 months to Christmas!! 😁🎅🌲

Minster2012 · 25/08/2017 07:42

@gingerandthebiscuits thank you for the heads up on cuski, never heard of it, now fave shop for baby gifts! Just ordered a load of blankets/swaddles for pregnant friends at knock down price with your code, awesome!!

Llamacorn · 25/08/2017 07:48

Smyths have £5 off when you spend £25 in store or online with code AUG5

River island have an extra 20% off all their sale stuff, applied automatically online.

Topshop also have 20% extra off their sale with code EXTRA20

Baker Ross have 15% off everything with code R734E - they're good for stocking stuffers or kids arts and crafts.

mermaid blankets last year I bought one from new look and 2 from boohoo kids - the boohoo ones were far better quality and much softer, and still look brand new. They have 20% off everything online just now, but they have 40% off kidswear with code 40JUMPZ which *might work on the mermaid blankets as they're technically in the kids range.

Llamacorn · 25/08/2017 07:48

Worth noting if using the smyths code above to buy anything that they will also be having their 20% off sale on the 15th of September iirc.

@WreckTangled are you still getting the error message that I also got? If so, maybe clear your cookies as your computer might be storing the old page.

Soslowmo · 25/08/2017 08:05

Thank you for the mermaid tail blanket recommendation Fool. They only have dark blue at the moment, so I had a little look around other sellers and it's a minefield!
I'm looking for good-quality purple, pink or turquoise blankets that aren't too short for a 7 year old and possibly 14 year old too.
Some reviews say the kids blanket is short on their child - am I better getting adult ones??
Any more recommendations? Thank you.

Soslowmo · 25/08/2017 08:07

Ooh thank you Llama - I'll take a look.

captainjacksparrow · 25/08/2017 08:10

So thanks to you lovely lot I have bought loads from saltrock, regatta, Lisa angel and tinc.

The massive problem I have is 90% of it is for me! Blush Grin

Soslowmo · 25/08/2017 08:10

The Boohoo mermaid blankets say she 7-8 - did you think the size was ok Llama. Don't think will fit my adult sized teen unfortunately, but do look lovely!

WreckTangled · 25/08/2017 08:14

Girl no error message it's just not taking any money off! I'm doing it on my phone...

Polkadot1974 · 25/08/2017 08:22

Where are people getting the micro scooters please? Think I e missed that

Everyonelovessparkles · 25/08/2017 08:37

Thanks to someone who highlighted the pandora outlet (think it was tatty?) got my SIL some really nice charms half price. That's her Xmas and birthday sorted! Also interested in the mermaid blankets as I think my DD would love one of those! Anyone know if there is a similar idea for boys?

Llamacorn · 25/08/2017 08:40

sos I don't think they had ages last year when I bought mine, my 15yr old dd can fit into them for a snuggle but the teen one I bought from new look is a better size for her. I'm 5'8 and the kids ones go up to my waist I'd say. Perhaps better buying an adult one though for a teen dd, I've noticed Asda have some for £12, or you could try the ones from eBay/amazon but I can't vouch on the quality of those ones.

Jessica78 · 25/08/2017 08:47

Sparkles i believe there is such a thing as a shark tail blanket - search amazon / ebay X

imsorryiasked · 25/08/2017 08:54

ginger Thanks for the Cuski link - I got my god daughter a lovely Happy Blanket for £14.50 delivered.

Soslowmo · 25/08/2017 08:56

Brill, thank you Llama. I'm thinking I might get the teal and purple mermaid tail blankets from Asda for 7 & 14 year old as they're only 30cm longer than the boohoo kids ones and I'd rather they were longer than shorter....or is that a bad idea??
