Nope, I have no idea what a present shitting log is either.

See post 2 for links etc and note the addition of a link with more info to the mn Christmas appeal, a very good cause if you're looking to donate to charity this Christmas time.

Sorry also re the Lands End referral code, it's £10 off a £40 spend - MUST READ FINE PRINT!

Curlyfrizzball · 08/12/2016 23:41

Have been lurking on this thread until now - some of you find some great bargains! Has anyone got any ideas of what to buy DH's aunt - she is on a gluten-free/ wheat-free diet so I tend to avoid any thing edible or cosmetic. However, her eyesight is also not good, so books etc not a good idea. We often buy audiobooks - any other ideas?

Thanks to previous posters who mentioned the Holy Flaps discount and the deal on the Mai Tui bags. That's my sister sorted. Smile

Just ordered my Soap and Glory box. I'm still considering getting a box of Aldi Pinot Grigio delivered (works out about £3.50 a bottle) for teacher gifts and drinking whatever is left

QuilliamCakespeare · 09/12/2016 07:37

I think someone was asking about mermaid tails yesterday - there are blankets on Amazon Lightning Deals at the moment (7.37am).

Follyfoot · 09/12/2016 07:46

PersisFord the Jaeger stuff I ordered varied. some still had the full price tag on it, others had a reduction written on the tag. I just snipped that part of the tag off, it still looked fine. The items came in resealable bags so they dont look tampered with!

PersisFord · 09/12/2016 07:46

For the aunt with the wheat free diet - would she like an internet radio? I listen to podcasts on mine. Or an audible.com subscription?

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 09/12/2016 07:47

brum thank you so much Grin Flowers that's amazing

PersisFord · 09/12/2016 07:49

Folly thanks - I've bought a very expensive but much reduced jumper from there! I can always give it to DH (loves a bargain!) but it's intended recipient wouldn't appreciate that. Hopefully I can just snip the tag, that's a great idea!

ihatethecold · 09/12/2016 08:03

Thanks for the ideas Lapin

Cataline · 09/12/2016 08:19

MelchettsTinslyMoustache · 09/12/2016 08:22

bears I have used your EB referral code thank you Xmas Smile

TheDrsDocMartens · 09/12/2016 08:31

If anyone still needs a Christmas jumper Poundland sell boxes of stickers to make your own 'ugly Xmas jumper' , there's plenty in there for two or three kids ones.

Chocolateteabag · 09/12/2016 08:34

MammaGnomes - from the last thread but my SpaceNK order came yesterday with just the samples and no referral goody bag so I emailed their Customer Services as per your advice....
...and I'm on their list for the next stock of bags which will come in next week!!
Feel like I've just had a confirmation that I'm on Santa's "Good List " Xmas Grin

Thank you for putting up the link and adding the bit about emailing them (it then got pulled for being oversubscribed sadly!)

Towards end of last thread, someone mentioned the 3 cd Air Guitar Anthems set at HMV for £9.99. Just in case anyone is thinking of buying it, you may, like I did, find the current offer on Amazon of 3 selected CDs/DVDs/Books (from a set list) for £20 helpful.

Using the offer, I managed to get the Air Guitar Anthems plus Phil Collin's 'Not dead yet' book and his 'The Singles' 2 cd set (unfortunately 'The Singles' 3 cd set wasn't available as part of offer).

Link to 3 Items for £20 offer
