Thread 20 - I want a present shitting log

[GodReastieMerryGentlemen]

Nope, I have no idea what a present shitting log is either.

See post 2 for links etc and note the addition of a link with more info to the mn Christmas appeal, a very good cause if you're looking to donate to charity this Christmas time.

bonnielassie check out betwixt bath creations. They are a small business using only natural ingredients but a bit cheaper than lush. May be worth asking if they can do a discount for a bulk buy?

Persis I got a necklace from the jaegar outlet last year and it came in a jewellery box and I don't recall anything saying it was reduced (but wouldn't bet my life on it).

Smyths have 3 for 2 on all board games - apologies if already posted!

Thanks for the new thread

Ooh thanks ladydep, I hadn't thought about trying lush!

Studio have free delivery with code 050. Worked for me and I'm an existing customer. Lots of cheap wrapping paper eg 29p - 69p for a 4m or 6m roll, £2 for 24m. I've stocked up for next year!

beady - I have 20% off ladies cashmere with Sparks, could you try signing up and see if you get that offer too?

I just had an email from National book tokens, free personalisation on their gift cards with code XMASFREE. Good idea for a book lover!

Did anyone keep the hotel chocolat cancelation instruction from last year? All my boxes arrived today!

If you have a Crystals store nearby it's worth a look in as they've got half price pendants on at the moment. Just got a good bargain for my dm and dsis so they're nearly sorted.

Does anyone know if there is a discount code for George at Asda. Google is not being my friend and my niece really wants this.
(Wouldn't mind one myself either)

Can anyone give me any ideas for a 6 year old girl and a 7 year old boy.
The budget is about £25 each.
I have no idea.
Not lego.

Trixy I got my 10 year old nieces the happy camper and irresistabubbles soap and glory sets from Boots. £5 each and on 3 for 2 so 3 for £10.

ihatethecold - do they like vehicles? MIne loved diggers/tractors/race cars at that age. Or a Hot wheels set? Or trains? Dinosaurs?

Dressing up stuff also popular at those ages. Also dolls, either baby dolls or Barbie like dolls.

Nerf gun with lots of extra bullets. A football. Magformers are pretty great. My 9yo dd is not a fan of Lego but loves Magformers and they are 3+.

Shuffle - nice star but it looks like it's sold out....

Thanks lady

They have lots of lego already and I've already bought them the lego advent calendars.

She's not very girly so not into dolls.

Hot wheels is s good idea for him.

I keep asking my ds (their dad) but he's hopeless at giving me any idea.
I'm fed up of asking.

ihate I am counting down the years until I can buy my godchildren a marble run

Another photobox code for 50% off everything (they seem to be a bit eager!) which is - 50DEC

Persis. How retro

I know!! It will mostly be for me!!! I also saw a swt of painted dominos especially for making runs with...

where can I get a cheapy mermaid tail for DD?

Thanks for other suggestions but don't think they'd work with DH or DF. DH likes wedding and portrait photography so not landscape/animals/birds. DF likes more the oldie folk/country singers as opposed to new ones.
